In recent years, in order to promote the consumption of new energy, many regions in China have carried out new energy market-oriented trading exploration, including direct trading of new energy and large users, new energy and thermal power generation rights trading, new energy cross-provincial medium and long-term trading, new energy cross-regional spot trading, and the establishment of a peak shaving auxiliary service market. This research takes typical new energy-rich provinces as an example to quantitatively analyze the effectiveness of the typical trading mechanism of new energy consumption in promoting new energy consumption. It is an inevitable trend to promote the consumption of new energy through market-oriented transactions. Combined with the construction process of China’s power market, the market will fully play the role of optimizing the allocation of resources, accelerate the construction of a power market-oriented trading mechanism that adapts to the consumption of new energy, and further utilize the market mechanism to promote new energy the role of energy consumption.

This article mainly analyze the shortcomings of the inherent peak shaving auxiliary service mechanism in the high-proportion of new energy access scenarios in Northeast China, which restricts the enthusiasm of thermal power units to participate in peak shaving. For this reason, a dynamic peak shaving compensation benchmark is proposed which follows load changes. At the same time, in order to standardize market behavior and facilitate market supervision, a guiding formula is proposed for quotation of thermal power units. Based on the above, a dynamic auxiliary service market mechanism is established which used actual operating data of Liaoning province power grid as a calculation example to verify that the mechanism can effectively improve the enthusiasm of thermal power units to participate in peak shaving, which is conducive to market operation and supervision as well.

The use of new energy to generate electricity in the power system and the large-scale increase of new energy grid connection has led to increasingly insufficient power system regulation, in order to solve this problem, the peak shaving auxiliary service market came into being.This article comprehensively analyzes the factors those affect the market clearing price of power peak shaving auxiliary services: The macro factors include energy economic policies (renewable energy and electric energy substitution), technological innovation, market operation rules, etc., and the micro factors include the quotation and demand of thermal power plants and wind power generation.The power peak shaving auxiliary service market is an important part of the power market. Its appearance makes the grid operation safer and more reliable, and the reasonable fluctuation of clearing prices and total market costs reflects the market’s sensitivity to peak shaving resource demand.This paper uses the BP neural network model to select 31 consecutive days of peak shaving auxiliary service clearing price data in North China for prediction.

In order to implement the requirements of the power system reform, to ensure the safety, stability and economic operation of the power system, and to promote the consumption of new energy, all provinces in China have built the peak-control auxiliary service market, and explore the establishment of a new mechanism for sharing and sharing of peak-control auxiliary services. Based on the operating rules of the peaking auxiliary service market in Xinjiang, Shanxi, Gansu, Fujian, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Northeast, Anhui, Ningxia, Shanghai, Shandong and other places, the author compares and evaluates the key content of the market operating rules from four aspects: market members and their responsibilities, deep peaking transaction details, emergency start-stop peaking transaction details, and measurement and settlement, and also finds a direction for the provinces to revise or adjust the rules of peaking auxiliary services in the future for the reference of power grid dispatching, power plant operations and other departments, in order to improve the understanding of relevant personnel of the peaking auxiliary service market.

During the heating period, the thermal storage electric boiler helps the thermal power units to participate in the deep peak regulation by converting the electric energy into heat energy for heating users, but in the non-heating period, the thermal storage electric boiler can not operate because there is no heat user, as a result, the thermal storage electric boiler is shut down in summer, and can not assist the thermal power unit to participate in the deep peak regulation. Therefore, this paper designs an electric thermal storage boiler regenerative system for peak shaving in summer. In this regenerative system, electric boiler is used to heat circulating water in heating period, and electric boiler is used to heat condensed water in non-heating period, and in the non-heating period, the number of low-pressure heaters can be adjusted according to the load and heat storage capacity of the units, so that the electric boiler can assist the thermal power units to participate in the deep peak regulation throughout the year, taking a 350MW unit with 70MW regenerative electric boiler as an example, the heat exchange capacity is calculated to verify the feasibility of the regenerative system. In this paper, a new method of heating condensate by regenerative electric boiler in non-heating period is proposed to solve the problem that the new energy can not be used and the energy is wasted in summer.

Trans-provincial new energy transactions consist of medium- and long-term transactions and spot transactions. Trans-provincial spot transactions have been mainly executed in areas where there is some difficulty with new energy consumption. To further improve the system’s capability to accommodate new energy, this paper designs a replacement transaction mechanism for electricity delivered through the same channel according to the status quo of trans-provincial new energy spot transactions and the reality of China’s electric power market. A production simulation-based decision analysis model for trans-provincial new energy consumption is established so as to analyse quantitatively the effects of the proposed transaction mode on new energy consumption. A typical case is selected out from a certain province as the delivery end, and the testing results show that the trans-provincial spot transaction mode and the quantitative analysis model proposed in the paper can improve the new energy consumption and utilization rate of the delivery end significantly.

The current inter-regional and inter-provincial power trading is organized by transaction path, and the buyers and sellers are the two regions or provinces through the transaction path, and the bidding range is small, which cannot optimize the allocation of resources in inter-provincial power trading, and it is difficult to break the provincial and regional barriers, therefore, this paper proposes the inter-regional and inter-provincial power market Therefore, this paper proposes an optimal clearing model for inter-regional and inter-provincial power market, which can expand the scope and scale of trading, realize sufficient market competition, give full play to the role of inter-regional and inter-provincial power trading, and realize the optimal allocation of energy resources in a larger scale, taking into account the network constraints.

AbstractThe paper analyses the role of control and monitoring of electro-energetic equipment in order to reduce operational costs, increase profits and reduce carbon emissions. The role of SCADA and EcoStruxure Power systems is presented and analysed taking into account the energy consumption and its savings. The paper presents practical and modern solutions to reduce energy consumption by up to 53%, mass by up to 47% and increase the life of the equipment by adjusting the electrical parameters. The Integrated Navigation System has allowed an automatic control and an efficient management. For ships, the implementation of an energy efficiency design index and new technologies was required for the GREEN SHIP project.

Background & Objective: The operating efficiency of a sensor network totally relies upon the energy that is consumed by the nodes to perform various tasks like data transmission etc. Thus, it becomes mandatory to consume the energy in an intelligent way so that the network can run for a long period. This paper proposed an energy efficient Cluster Head (CH) selection mechanism by considering the distance to Base Station (BS), distance to node and energy as major factors. The concept of volunteer node is also introduced with an objective to reduce the energy consumption of the CH to transmit data from source to BS. The role of the volunteer node is to transmit the data successfully from source to destination or BS. Conclusion: The results are observed with respect to the Alive nodes, dead nodes and energy consumption of the network. The outcome of the proposed work proves that it outperforms the traditional mechanisms.
