Species of the mite genus Protzia Piersig, 1896 are diverse and sometimes highly abundant freshwater mites. Here, we provide COI barcodes for five species (Protzia rugosa, P. rotunda, P. halberti, P. cabardinica, P. longiacetabulata) and use them for species delimitation analyses accompanied with morphological comparisons. As a result, we resurrected the species P. cabardinica (Sokolow, 1940). Based on morphology only, we describe three new species, P. kyrgyzica sp. nov. and P. tienshanensis sp. nov., from Kyrgyzstan and P. iranica sp. nov. from southern Iran. Furthermore, we describe the male of P. longiacetabulata from Turkey, which was not known previously.

The monotypic subfamily Epitraninae Burks, 1936 (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea, Chalcididae) is reported for the first time in Saudi Arabia. Seven Epitranus species are recorded in the Southwestern and Central regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, of which three species are new: E. delvarei Soliman & Gadallah, sp. nov. (female & male), E. similis Gadallah & Soliman, sp. nov. (male), and E. subinops Soliman & Gadallah, sp. nov. (female), are described and illustrated. Four new records, E. clavatus (Fabricius), E. hamoni complex, E. inops Steffan, and E. torymoides (Risbec), are also reported. An illustrated key to species is provided.

Centistidea acrocercopsi Ahmad & Pandey, sp. nov., C. cosmopteryxi Ahmad & Pandey, sp. nov., and C. tihamica Ghramh & Ahmad, sp. nov. are described as new to science. The genus Centistidea Rohwer (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Miracinae) is recorded for the first time from Saudi Arabia. Two species were reared from Acrocercops phaeospora Meyrick and Cosmopteryx phaeogastra (Meyrick) in India, while Centistidea tihamica was collected by Malaise trap in Saudi Arabia. Characters of these new species and their affinities with related taxa are discussed. Data on habitat, host records, and host plant species for all the parasitoid species are also provided.

The species of the genus Enicospilus Stephens, 1835 in Saudi Arabia are reviewed. Six species have previously been recorded from Saudi Arabia: E. brevicornis (Masi, 1939), E. capensis (Thunberg, 1822), E. nervellator Aubert, 1966, E. perlatus Shestakov, 1926, E. psammus Gauld & Mitchell, 1978 and E. oculator Seyrig, 1935. Five new species are described and illustrated in this paper: Enicospilus arabicus Gadallah & Soliman sp. nov., E. mirabilis Soliman & Gadallah sp. nov., E. pseudoculator Gadallah & Soliman sp. nov., E. shadaensis Gadallah & Soliman sp. nov. and E. splendidus Rousse, Soliman & Gadallah sp. nov. Twelve species are newly recorded for the fauna of Saudi Arabia, thus raising the total number to 23 species: E. bicoloratus Cameron, 1912, E. divisus (Seyrig, 1935), E. dubius (Tosquinet, 1896), E. grandiflavus Townes & Townes, 1973, E. odax Gauld & Mitchell, 1978, E. oweni Gauld & Mitchell, 1976, E. pacificus (Holmgren, 1868), E. pallidus (Taschenberg, 1875), E. rundiensis Bischoff, 1915, E. senescens (Tosquinet, 1896), Enicospilus sp. 1 and Enicospilus sp. 2 cf. bicoloratus Cameron, 1912. The unknown male of E. odax is described for the first time. The COI barcodes of 17 specimens were sequenced, compared to the existing data and uploaded to the BOLD Systems database. An illustrated key and an annotated faunistic list of all species of Enicospilus in Saudi Arabia are also provided. Finally, we discuss the biogeographical and ecological significance of the Enicospilus fauna in Saudi Arabia.

The species of chalcidid wasps of Dirhinus Dalman, 1818 (Hymenoptera: Chalcididae) from Saudi Arabia are reviewed. Seven species are reported from Al Bahah, Asir, Jazan and Riyadh regions, of which three have hitherto been recorded: D. (Dirhinus) anthracia Walker, 1846, D. (Dirhinus) himalayanus Westwood, 1836 and D. (Dirhinus) wohlfahrtiae Ferrière, 1935. One species D. (Dirhinus) claviger Bouček & Narendran, 1981 is recorded for the first time from Saudi Arabia (Asir). Additionally, three new species: D. (Dirhinus) asirensis sp. nov. (Asir), D. (Dirhinus) sculpturatus sp. nov. (Al Bahah, Asir and Riyadh) and D. (Pareniaca) transversus sp. nov. (Al Bahah, Asir and Jazan) are described and illustrated. An illustrated key to females of the species of Dirhinus from Saudi Arabia is provided.

Extensive sampling of Pipunculidae in the frame of faunistic research in former Czechoslovakia as well as several other European countries over the last two decades has resulted in the discovery of several unknown species of this family. In this work, we present descriptions of three new species of the genus Pipunculus Latreille, 1802. Pipunculus adami Kozánek, sp. nov. and P. lindae Kozánek, sp. nov. are described from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, P. anatolicus Kozánek, sp. nov. is described on the basis of specimens from Turkey. The detailed redescription of the male of P. wolfi Kowarz, 1887, including the so far unknown male terminalia, is presented. The key taxonomic characters are visualized as interactive microphotographs provided with browsing software.
