Now days, digital communication systems become complex and sophisticated. Not all vendors, if any, can understand the system and components of system that represent different modulation techniques, line and block coding, multiplexing and multiple access.

They need the conclusion about which of modulation techniques is the suitable for transmission and in the same time can save the power and bandwidth.

Engineers can study and analyze the modulation techniques and then compare between them to give such conclusion using modeling and simulation.

MATLAB is a high level mathematical language for technical computing.

In this paper we use MATLAB environment as simulation software to give on display a clear result that used to compare between two digital Passband modulation techniques BPSK and QPSK, and pinpoint the performance of the two techniques over selected parameters.

This article provides an overview of the technologies for generating radio signals, such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing and its modifications: universal filtered multicarrier and filter bank multi-carrier currently used in wireless communication networks. Subject of research: methods of multicar-rier modulation. Main results: Overview of modern methods of forming multicarrier signals in radio communication systems. A number of computational experiments have been performed to compare the characteristics of signal localization, peak-to-average ratios and spurious emissions. Practical implica-tions: the results can be used in choosing the type of modulation in the case of the development of digi-tal radio communication systems.

The exponential increase of traffic on roads has led to numerous disastrous consequences. These issues demand an adaptive solution that ensures road safety and decreases the traffic congestion on roads. New paradigms such as Cloud computing and internet of things are aiding in achievement of the inter-communication among the vehicles on road. VANETs are designed to provide effective and efficient communication systems to develop innovative solutions but are restricted due to mobility constraints. This chapter proposes an IP-based novel framework composed of open threads integrated with VANETs exchanging information to create a mesh network among vehicles. This novel Open Threads-based infrastructure can help in achieving a more economical, efficient, safer, and sustainable world of transportation which is safer and greener. This chapter also discusses and compares various thread-enabled microcontrollers by different vendors that can be utilized to create a mesh network.

Now a days as we are seeing that the free space optics is one of the emerging technology used for the replacement of the radio frequency wireless communication, due to their advantages over it like cost, speed, bandwidth, minimum error as well as efficient communication. The quality of services provided by the FSO is far better than the RF communication network. The free space optics is unlicensed band which make it less costly than the licensed band technology. As the atmospheric channel is used for transmission the effects of atmospheric condition effects the communication. In this paper we try to discuss all the modulation schemes which help to improve the performances of the optic system.
