The relationship between knowledge management practices and quality production has not received much attention. The objective of this paper is twofold. The first objective is to investigate this relationship in the Malaysian manufacturing and service firms. The second objective is to investigate the mediating role of these firms' innovation on this relationship. Six hypothesised relationships were tested using a sample of 201 manufacturing and service firms in Malaysia. The results show that the two dimensions of knowledge management have a significant positive effect on quality production. Furthermore the results showed that innovation does not mediate the relationship between knowledge management and quality production. The implications of the study as well as suggestions for future studies are also discussed.

Existing research shows that scholars try to achieve the goal of employee loyalty through human resource management practices at the organization level. However, the new employer economics proposes a tendency from “employer-centered” to “employee-centered”. Through a multi-level research method, this paper used 40 teams and found that employer brands had a significantly positive effect on employee loyalty. Basic psychological needs played a mediating role between employer brand and employee loyalty, but the team identification didn’t mediate the relationship between employer brand and employee loyalty. At last, the moderating role of servant leadership between employer brand and employee loyalty was not proved.

Talent management and Employee Engagement have been studied extensively in management literature in the last ten years, both concepts have become a field of interest. Therefore, this study explores the impact of employee engagement as a mediator on the relationship between talent management and organizational performance. The reason for doing this research is that most of the studies have studied the relationship between talent management directly on organizational performance and have not included employee engagement as a mediator. Midwives were selected as samples since their talents can further enhance the professional ability of midwives in carrying out their duties: to save mothers and children during childbirth.
