The hypothesis of this research is that the impact of Pre-Islamic poetry appeared early in the features of the German poet, Goethe, in contrast with the critics who studied this connection. This impact appears in his novel The Sorrows of Young Wrether, which is one of his early works (1774). The researcher thinks that Goethe was unintentionally influenced by Pre-Islamic poetry in general and by Tarafah Ibn Alabd (his life and his outstanding Mu'ullaqa, the Lameyah) in particular. The research tries to clarify similarities and convergences between the two poets along with the two texts (the novel and Mu'ullaqa).

The study dealt with the ruling of the proprietor’s right to claim for compensation from the one who is forced by severe hunger to eat his food, also the ruling of the one stolen from him to claim for compensation on the thief. Concluding that the preponderant jurisprudential opinion is the one that sees the legitimacy of the proprietor to claim for compensation the one who is forced by severe hunger, as that the permission of Sharia for the forced by severe hunger to eat the food of others when necessary removes the sin, but it does not prevent the guarantee. The study also concluded that the preponderant jurisprudential opinion is the one that sees the legality of claiming for compensation by the stolen from him on the thief. As the execution of the penalty against the thief is the right of Allah Almighty and does not prevent the thief from guaranteeing the return of the stolen money if it is existing, or similar to it, or its value if it is valuable in the event of its destruction.

Families in general are subjected to many external influences and pressures especially the husband, who is usually under threats and compulsion, to forcibly divorce his wife. This divorce might occur for the sake of greed of her money, beauty, or settle down some personal issues through inflicting punishment or peeve her husband. The present study aims at defining forced divorce and clarify the scholars’ opinions of forced divorce along with clarifying the most likely opinion and the opinion adopted by the Jordanian Personal Status Law No. 15 of 2019 by answering the following question: What is the reason for the law changing the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifa to the opinion of most jurists on the issue of forced divorce, and what is the interest achieved by This turn off? What is the role of legitimate politics in that? To answer this question, the researcher used the comparative analytical method as the main research design. The study concluded that forced divorce does not occur, which is the opinion held by the public, due to its consistency with the spirit and purposes of Islamic law. This opinion is also consistent with the legitimate interest and policy, which is what the Jordanian law adopted in contravention of the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifa to the opinion of the public as it achieves the general interests and legitimate policy.

The Old Man and the Sea is a novel that is written by the American author Ernest Hemingway, . The novel is full of religious utterances and symbols. Different translators have translated this novel into various languages. Gabrielle Wahbeh is a Christian Egyptian writer who translated this novel into Arabic.  By reading the source text and the translated text, I can tell that Wahbe’s translation of the novel differs from the original text in regards to religious terms paraphrasing them. The results show that none of the Arabic idioms used in this study have equivalences in English language and so, what is shown are the paraphrased meaning for each  My study will be based on the comparison and analysis of the translation including some examples from the source text into Arabic. The main aim for this study is to highlight Venuti’s translation strategy “domestication “that has been used in translating this novel into Arabic.   Translation is the process of rendering a unit from one language (Source Language) into another (Target Language). This study focuses on translating the Arabic idioms . The methodology of this study is based on a number of statements collected verbally or through written texts and expressing the meaning by paraphrasing them. The results show that none of the Arabic idioms used in this study have equivalences in English language and so, what is shown are the paraphrased meaning for each.
