AbstractCurrently, inconsistent software versions lead to massive challenges for many car manufacturers. This is partly because within the product lifecycle management and the software engineering process, there is no correct handling of software versions for the “data entry” (installation of software on the ECU) of the vehicles. Furthermore, there are currently major challenges for many vehicle manufacturers to ensure transparency, integrity and full traceability of SW data status vis-à-vis the legislator. To counteract these challenges, new solutions in the field of vehicle engineering are to be developed based on a new platform called “CarEngChainNet” and Blockchain technology. On the basis of the “CarEngChainNet” platform, new main and sub-chain chains will be developed that allow tamper-proof SW data management (Peer to Peer and crypto technology) across the entire PLM chain with new methods such as model-based systems engineering of the requirement, function and integration of the SW components in different areas of vehicle development. The aim is to develop new transmission chains of vehicles with individually packaged software artefacts (e.g. ECU software) that can be securely transmitted from server to server into the vehicle.

For getting the higher quality, the paper analyses the punching order according to the part shape, then determines the die styles. The dies include blanking and bending steps, the bending dies are choosed carefully, from the part to its’extension size, then to cavity size and punch size, thus the general assembly drawing is tested whether it is right.

In this study, the researcher carried out a comparative investigation of the crashworthy features of different tubular structures with a quasi-static three bending point, like the foam-filled two and tri circular tube structures. Energy absorption capacities and failure modes of different structures are also studied. Furthermore, the general characteristics are investigated and compared for instance the energy absorption, specific energy absorption and energy-absorbing effectiveness for determining the potential structural components that can be used in the field of vehicle engineering. Experimental results indicated that under the bending conditions, the tri foam-filled structures were higher crashworthiness behaviour than the two foam-filled circular structures. Therefore, this study recommended the use of crashworthy structures, such as foam-filled tri circular tubes due to the increased bending resistance and energy-absorbing effectiveness.
