Sangari 14212081                                                Dosen Pembimbing :                                                Drs. H. J. R. Sumarauw, M.Pd                                                Dra. Lenie Ratag, M.Pd   ABSTRAK   David G. Sangari. 2019. The Influence of the Snowball Throwing Learning Model on the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes at SMK Negeri 3 Tondano. Thesis, PTM S-1 Study Program, Faculty of Engineering. University Manado State. Advisors (1) Drs. H. J. R. Sumarauw, M.Pd,  (II) Dra.Lenie Ratag, M, Pd   Keywords: Snowball Throwing Model, Competency Learning of Light Vehicle Engineering Skills   Based on the observations of researchers in the field, students in the learning process centered only on teachers and students only memorized concepts. The results at this reflection stage would be the basis for making improvements in this study. This study used 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research was conducted in 12 meetings in each class. At the first meeting, a preliminary test was given which aims to see to what extent the students' ability limits. The second meeting until the 11th meeting was given a learning process using the Snowball Throwing learning model in the experimental class and conventional learning models in the control class. In the end, at the 12th meeting, each class was given a posttest to see if there was an improvement from the first meeting. Based on the research hypothesis testing at SMK N 3 Tondano on basic automotive engineering subjects with jacking and blocking material, it can be seen that Snowball Throwing learning affects students' mastery of concepts.

The reliability of door sealing plays an important role in maintaining the quality of vehicle noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). To improve the reliability of door sealing, a novel sealing process has been proposed. The factors influencing the door sealing quality have been investigated. The relationships between the peeling force, peeling speed, and peeling time have been calculated using the five-variable rheological theory. The maximum stress versus time curve and the distribution of stress and strain at the moment of debonding have been obtained by nonlinear solid cohesive coupling dynamics simulation. The rolling process of the door sealing strip has been developed, and automatic rolling equipment for door sealing has been designed and manufactured. The factors influencing the peeling force have been determined by a peeling test of the door sealing strip. The results show that the peeling force increases with an increase in the peeling speed and time. The C-shaped structure at the front end of the base material during the stripping process makes the peeling angle sharp. In addition, the uneven stripping speed causes the stripping line to become irregular. The peeling force increases with the increase in rolling pressure and failure time. The optimum rolling pressure was 70 N/m2 and the optimum aging time was 24 h.

In our days, simulation based development is a core element of vehicle engineering, especially considering highly automated or fully autonomous vehicles. Accordingly, the paper presents a benchmark of three different automotive simulators: PreScan, IPG CarMaker, and VTD Vires. The three software tools were applied for the same goal, namely, modelling the ZalaZONE Proving Ground of Hungary for vehicle testing. The paper aims to highlight the experiences while creating the virtual models by presenting and comparing the relevant software features and providing suggestions for scientific or practical application.

"Engineering Materials and Machinery Manufacturing Fundamentals" is the basic discipline of vehicle engineering. In order to realize the seamless combination of knowledge transfer and ideological and political value guidance, the complex knowledge points are modularized reforms, and each module has the advantages of The curriculum ideological and political elements with distinctive professional characteristics have played a role in guiding students' correct value orientation by updating curriculum teaching objectives, reshaping curriculum teaching design, optimizing experimental curriculum ideological and political penetration, and reforming the ideological and political curriculum penetration of curriculum evaluation mode.

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is generally interpreted as an approach to learning English based on the goals/needs of the learner. In the context of learning English in Indonesia, both at secondary and tertiary schools, especially for automotive students, the ESP approach is a popular choice. The application of this approach is in line with the government policy in the field of education which emphasizes the purpose of learning English, namely to improve the ability of students to use English, especially for academic and professional career needs with an emphasis on reading skills that allow students to understand authentic material topics according to their majors. effectively. This article puts forward a theoretical study of the basic concepts of ESP including its definition and role as a learning approach, along with related issues including needs analysis as the main feature of ESP, syllabus, learning objectives, materials, methodology, and evaluation of ESP-based English learning.

In this study, the researcher carried out a comparative investigation of the crashworthy features of different tubular structures with a quasi-static three bending point, like the foam-filled two and tri circular tube structures. Energy absorption capacities and failure modes of different structures are also studied. Furthermore, the general characteristics are investigated and compared for instance the energy absorption, specific energy absorption and energy-absorbing effectiveness for determining the potential structural components that can be used in the field of vehicle engineering. Experimental results indicated that under the bending conditions, the tri foam-filled structures were higher crashworthiness behaviour than the two foam-filled circular structures. Therefore, this study recommended the use of crashworthy structures, such as foam-filled tri circular tubes due to the increased bending resistance and energy-absorbing effectiveness.

The absorption of graduates in the industrial world is an important aspect that affects the quality of vocational high schools (SMK). However, the problem that occurs is the low absorption. This study aims to analyze the level of absorption of SMK graduates in light vehicle engineering (TKR) and motorcycle engineering and business (TBSM) programs. Descriptive research uses a quantitative approach to measure the percentage of graduate absorption. A total of 4 vocational high school job fairs were involved in this study. Techniques and instruments of data collection using methods and observation sheets by observing survey data in special job fairs. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential analysis of the sample independent t test. The results showed that the level of absorption of SMK graduates in the TKR and TBSM majors was low. Various efforts to revitalize vocational education must be matured again. The link and match program of SMK with the industrial world needs to be more intensive to align the competencies taught to the competency needs of the industrial world, so that the absorption of graduates can be improved.

AbstractCurrently, inconsistent software versions lead to massive challenges for many car manufacturers. This is partly because within the product lifecycle management and the software engineering process, there is no correct handling of software versions for the “data entry” (installation of software on the ECU) of the vehicles. Furthermore, there are currently major challenges for many vehicle manufacturers to ensure transparency, integrity and full traceability of SW data status vis-à-vis the legislator. To counteract these challenges, new solutions in the field of vehicle engineering are to be developed based on a new platform called “CarEngChainNet” and Blockchain technology. On the basis of the “CarEngChainNet” platform, new main and sub-chain chains will be developed that allow tamper-proof SW data management (Peer to Peer and crypto technology) across the entire PLM chain with new methods such as model-based systems engineering of the requirement, function and integration of the SW components in different areas of vehicle development. The aim is to develop new transmission chains of vehicles with individually packaged software artefacts (e.g. ECU software) that can be securely transmitted from server to server into the vehicle.

The maintenance is one of the most important territories of practical vehicle engineering. For optimal management maintenance decisions one of the most important matter to know momentary technical state of given system. In this paper literature of aging of technical systems is studied briefly. We found 2 major topics. They are maintenance management and mathematical modelling. These and their connections with other matter was widely studied in the field of aging. In this review we comparatively discuses all the methods and their theories. It will be very helpful for other readers to choose any methods to carry out better results.
