According to the intersected cross-sections, an automatic method of constructing geological model was proposed. Firstly, in this method, these cross-sections are divided into some unit cells, and the auxiliary lines are increased and sheared by some geological rules in each unit cell. Finally the geological surfaces are created to form geological entities. This method can be applied in constructing geological entity model automatically, which contains the complex geological phenomena such as Pinch-out, changes and so on. This method also can avoid the modeling process of diverse manual way, raises the modeling speed.

If you want to simulate and analyze a system by Petri net, you must construct a reliable and accurate Petri net model. Problem of constructing model by Petri net is discussed few at present. Petri net automatic modeling method based on system behavior sequence is presented. This method combines all the behavior sequences of system into the formal language expression. For different system, giving labeled function (giving the relationship between transition and system behaviors) can construct system Petri net model. To illustrate the algorithm, an example of constructing user Petri net model of telephone call service is given. This method has strong formalization and can be used universally. The model constructed by this method is standard and can realize computer automatic modeling. It makes progress in research of system modeling.

Two kinds of 3D modeling methods for square dome shaped pipe (SDSP) are presented in this paper, i.e. Manual modeling method by means of relative commands provided by AutoCAD and automatic modeling method by means of AutoLISP programming. The modeling steps are described in detail in the manual modeling method. Based on these, the 3D modeling application for SDSP is developed by means of AutoLISP language. The parameterized modeling of SDSP is achieved, and the drawing efficiency is increased effectively.
