Concrete filled steel tube is widely used in super high-rise steel structure, but there are many problem in the construction of concrete filled steel tube. With the construction of Wanxin building as an example, this paper described the selection of the construction program, and analyzed the disadvantages in construction such as the difficulties of concrete pumping and the problems of pipe blockage, pipe explosion and concrete curing during the process of construction. Based on structural characteristics and construction difficulties, the key technique of steel tube concrete construction are introduced in detail. It can provide significant reference and guide for super high-rise building construction.

Large-span hybrid structure of suspendome with stacked arch is applied into steel roof of Chiping Gymnasium. The construction of this new type structure system is difficult according to structure characteristics such as its large-span stacked arch, high installation altitude, lattice shell installation, prestressed cable tension, and tight construction period. Temporary support frame, segment lifting and high altitude splicing construction method is adopted to install the stacked arch, and total support, high-altitude spread operation method is used to install lattice dome. A spatial structural analysis is conducted on the supporting system, and the finite element software is adopted to simulate and analyze the installation process of the steel structure roof system. At the same time, stress and deformation of the roof structure are monitored by precise instruments and equipments. As the result, construction safety and quality are guaranteed.

The construction environment under negative temperature has a great influence on the quality of steel structure in winter, especially the negative temperature welding construction of steel structure. Based on the building steel structure engineering, this paper discussed the construction technology and technical measures of steel structure under negative temperature in northeast China in winter, such as the installing construction, the welding construction, the paint coating construction and so on.
