Let g \mathfrak {g} be a finite simply-laced type simple Lie algebra. Baumann-Kamnitzer-Knutson recently defined an algebra morphism D ¯ \overline {D} on the coordinate ring C [ N ] \mathbb {C}[N] related to Brion’s equivariant multiplicities via the geometric Satake correspondence. This map is known to take distinguished values on the elements of the MV basis corresponding to smooth MV cycles, as well as on the elements of the dual canonical basis corresponding to Kleshchev-Ram’s strongly homogeneous modules over quiver Hecke algebras. In this paper we show that when g \mathfrak {g} is of type A n A_n or D 4 D_4 , the map D ¯ \overline {D} takes similar distinguished values on the set of all flag minors of C [ N ] \mathbb {C}[N] , raising the question of the smoothness of the corresponding MV cycles. We also exhibit certain relations between the values of D ¯ \overline {D} on flag minors belonging to the same standard seed, and we show that in any A D E ADE type these relations are preserved under cluster mutations from one standard seed to another. The proofs of these results partly rely on Kang-Kashiwara-Kim-Oh’s monoidal categorification of the cluster structure of C [ N ] \mathbb {C}[N] via representations of quiver Hecke algebras.

Let G G be a connected reductive algebraic group over C \mathbb C . Through the geometric Satake equivalence, the fundamental classes of the Mirković–Vilonen cycles define a basis in each tensor product V ( λ 1 ) ⊗ ⋯ ⊗ V ( λ r ) V(\lambda _1)\otimes \cdots \otimes V(\lambda _r) of irreducible representations of G G . We compute this basis in the case G = S L 2 ( C ) G=\mathrm {SL}_2(\mathbb C) and conclude that in this case it coincides with the dual canonical basis at q = 1 q=1 .

We formulate a $q$ -Schur algebra associated with an arbitrary $W$ -invariant finite set $X_{\text{f}}$ of integral weights for a complex simple Lie algebra with Weyl group $W$ . We establish a $q$ -Schur duality between the $q$ -Schur algebra and Hecke algebra associated with $W$ . We then realize geometrically the $q$ -Schur algebra and duality and construct a canonical basis for the $q$ -Schur algebra with positivity. With suitable choices of $X_{\text{f}}$ in classical types, we recover the $q$ -Schur algebras in the literature. Our $q$ -Schur algebras are closely related to the category ${\mathcal{O}}$ , where the type $G_{2}$ is studied in detail.

In this paper we study consequences of the results of Kang et al. [Monoidal categorification of cluster algebras, J. Amer. Math. Soc. 31 (2018), 349–426] on a monoidal categorification of the unipotent quantum coordinate ring $A_{q}(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ together with the Laurent phenomenon of cluster algebras. We show that if a simple module $S$ in the category ${\mathcal{C}}_{w}$ strongly commutes with all the cluster variables in a cluster $[\mathscr{C}]$, then $[S]$ is a cluster monomial in $[\mathscr{C}]$. If $S$ strongly commutes with cluster variables except for exactly one cluster variable $[M_{k}]$, then $[S]$ is either a cluster monomial in $[\mathscr{C}]$ or a cluster monomial in $\unicode[STIX]{x1D707}_{k}([\mathscr{C}])$. We give a new proof of the fact that the upper global basis is a common triangular basis (in the sense of Qin [Triangular bases in quantum cluster algebras and monoidal categorification conjectures, Duke Math. 166 (2017), 2337–2442]) of the localization $\widetilde{A}_{q}(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ of $A_{q}(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ at the frozen variables. A characterization on the commutativity of a simple module $S$ with cluster variables in a cluster $[\mathscr{C}]$ is given in terms of the denominator vector of $[S]$ with respect to the cluster $[\mathscr{C}]$.

The Clebsh–Gordan coefficients for the Lie algebra g l 3 \mathfrak {gl}_3 in the Gelfand–Tsetlin base are calculated. In contrast to previous papers, the result is given as an explicit formula. To obtain the result, a realization of a representation in the space of functions on the group G L 3 GL_3 is used. The keystone fact that allows one to carry the calculation of Clebsh–Gordan coefficients is the theorem that says that functions corresponding to the Gelfand–Tsetlin base vectors can be expressed in terms of generalized hypergeometric functions.

We construct the quantized enveloping algebra of any simple Lie algebra of type $\mathbb{A}\mathbb{D}\mathbb{E}$ as the quotient of a Grothendieck ring arising from certain cyclic quiver varieties. In particular, the dual canonical basis of a one-half quantum group with respect to Lusztig’s bilinear form is contained in the natural basis of the Grothendieck ring up to rescaling. This paper expands the categorification established by Hernandez and Leclerc to the whole quantum groups. It can be viewed as a geometric counterpart of Bridgeland’s recent work for type $\mathbb{A}\mathbb{D}\mathbb{E}$.

Let L be a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra, Lℤ be the ℤ-span of a Chevalley basis of L and LR = R⊗ℤLℤ be a Chevalley algebra of type L over a commutative ring R. Let [Formula: see text] be the nilpotent subalgebra of LR spanned by the root vectors associated with positive roots. The aim of this paper is to determine the automorphism group of [Formula: see text].

The solution of the non-Abelian SU (N) quantum Chern–Simons field theory defined in R3 is presented. It is shown how to compute the expectation values of the Wilson line operators, associated with oriented framed links, in closed form. The main properties of the universal link polynomial, defined by these expectation values, are derived in the case of a generic real simple Lie algebra. The resulting polynomials for some simple examples of links are reported.

The twist deformations for simple Lie algebras [Formula: see text] whose twisting elements ℱ are known explicitly are usually defined on the carrier subspace injected in the Borel subalgebra [Formula: see text]. We consider the case where the carrier of the twist intersects nontrivially with both [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. The main element of the new deformation is the parabolic twist ℱ℘ whose carrier is the minimal parabolic subalgebra of simple Lie algebra [Formula: see text]. It has the structure of the algebra of two-dimensional motions, contains [Formula: see text] and intersects nontrivially with [Formula: see text]. The twist ℱ℘ is constructed as a composition of the extended jordanian twist [Formula: see text] and the factor [Formula: see text]. The latter can be considered as a special deformed version of the jordanian twist. The twisted costructure is found for [Formula: see text] and the corresponding universal ℛ-matrix is presented. The parabolic twist can be composed with certain types of chains of extended jordanian twists for algebras A2(n-1). The chains enlarged by the parabolic factor ℱ℘ perform the explicit quantization of the new set of classical r-matrices.
