Abstract We presented the case of a 6-year-old boy who was seen in the emergency room because of signs of intracranial hypertension and left cerebellar syndrome. The CT scan revealed a heterogeneous lesion within the left hemisphere displacing the fourth ventricle and eroding the occipital bone. The MRI showed the same heterogeneous lesion majorly cystic, involving the bone and displacing the left cerebellar hemisphere. A minor hydrocephalus was evident in both studies. A suboccipital craniectomy was done and a cystic epidural tumor remodeling and eroding the bone was noted. The histopathological diagnosis corresponded to an aneurysmal bone cyst. Aneurysmal bone cyst is a rare benign tumor accounting for 3–6 % of tumors of the cranial base. We discuss the unusual location of the lesion.

Background. The cerebellum as initial site of distant metastasis from differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) including papillary (PTC) and follicular thyroid carcinoma (FTC) is rare manifestation.Case Presentations. Herein, we present three cases of cerebellar metastasis (CBM) of PTC. Mean age of patients was 67 years (range: 64–72), and mean duration between initial diagnosis and CBM was 49.6 months (range: 37–61). Frequent location was left cerebellar hemisphere and was associated with hydrocephalus. All patients underwent suboccipital craniectomy, and in two patients postoperative intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) was given to deliver 5000 cGy in 25 fractions to residual lesions. Patient without postoperative IMRT had cerebellar recurrence along with lung and bone metastasis after 38 months. However, two patients were found alive and free of disease at the time of last follow-up.Conclusion. CBM from PTC is a rare clinical entity and is often associated with hydrocephalus. Histopathological diagnosis is important to initiate effective treatment, which relies on multidisciplinary approach to prolong the disease-free and overall survival rates.

An aneurysmal bone cyst is a very rare benign tumor of the ribs. It mainly involves the long bones and vertebrae, and requires histopathological examination for definitive diagnosis. We present a case of large aneurysmal bone cyst of the left 6th rib in young adult male. The diagnosis of aneurysmal bone cyst should be kept in mind in young patients presenting with an expansile lytic lesion of the rib, because it has an excellent outcome after complete surgical resection.

Testicular fibroma of gonadal stromal origin is a rare benign tumor of testis, which usually presents as a slow growing testicular mass. Intratesticular fibroma of gonadal stromal origin, with or without minor sex cord elements, must be considered, analogous to similar tumors in ovary, as a benign tumor. Until now, only 25 cases of testicular fibroma have been reported in the literature. We reported a case of testicular fibroma in a 20 years male who presented with painless right testicular enlargement since two years. Ultrasonography (USG) showed heterogeneous mass in right scrotum suggestive of testicular malignancy. Right orchidectomy was done. Histopathological diagnosis was testicular fibroma, which was confirmed by immunohistochemistry.

Case summary A 3-year-old spayed female domestic shorthair indoor cat presented with a 3-week history of pain from the pelvic region. Physical examination revealed pain elicited on palpating the pelvic area and right hip. Radiographs and CT showed an expansile, osteolytic process with intact cortex in the right wing of the ilium. CT revealed a monostotic and soft tissue-attenuating process with clear margins. Preoperative histopathological diagnosis of aneurysmal bone cyst was made from incisional biopsies. The cyst was removed en bloc with limb-sparing partial iliectomy. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of aneurysmal bone cyst. Recovery from surgery was uneventful. At re-examination 8 weeks and 8 months postoperatively, the cat was pain free and physical examinations were within normal limits. Relevance and novel information Feline aneurysmal bone cysts are rare and reported cases are few. To our knowledge, this is the first report describing the CT appearance of a pelvic aneurysmal bone cyst and partial iliectomy with limb preservation in a cat with successful short-term outcome.

Abstract Aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is a benign, tumor like, multi-cystic vascular lesion that causes destruction of the cortical bone. It usually involves the metaphysis of long bones and spine (posterior elements). ABC arising in the orbit constitutes less than 0.25% of all reported cases. We report a 5-year-old girl who presented with painless right sided proptosis without any visual disturbance, which was gradual in onset. Contrast enhanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging scans of the orbit were suggestive of an expansile bony lytic lesion in the roof of the right orbit. Frontal craniotomy followed by the supra-orbital osteotomy was carried out. The entire tumor-like mass was removed piece-meal. Histopathological diagnosis was “a solid variant of ABC of the orbital roof.” Post-operative course was satisfactory and the patients eye symptoms improved.

Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC) is a Benign tumor, Also known as Giant Cell Repetative Granuloma, They are locally destructive hemorrhagic benign cystic legion. According to the definition of the WHO Aneurismal Bone Cyst is expanding osteolytic lesion consisting of blood-filled spaces of variable size and that are separated by connective tissue septae containing trabecula of bone or osteoid tissue and osteoclast giant cells. We report a case of a giant aneurysmal bone cyst in the Middle one-third of Right humerus of a 16 -year-old boy, which was treated with Allograft, Autograft and ender's nail fixation. At 6 Years of follow up Patient regain a pain-free complete Range of motion with radiographically subside of legion.

Aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign, but locally aggressive benign tumor. The clavicle being a rare site of tumors and very few cases of aneurysmal bone cyst of clavicle have been reported in literature. Due to its rarity of location of its presentation we hereby report a rare case of aneurysmal bone cyst of medial end of clavicle in a 20-year-old female which was treated by wide local resection and reconstruction.
