Abstract Gas gas reheater is an important device for waste heat recovery and flue gas purification in thermal power plant. In this paper, the fracture failure reason of pressing plate bolt of guide bearing end cover of flue gas reheater in thermal power plant is analyzed. The results of optical microscope analysis show that there is no obvious abnormality in the metallographic structure of the two guide bearing bolts. The mechanical analysis results show that the hardness value, tensile strength and yield strength meet the requirements of relevant standards. SEM analysis showed that the fracture began at the root of the thread. The research results can provide reference for the operation and maintenance of flue gas reheater in relevant enterprises.

For many years, the Institute of Power Engineering and Turbomachinery of the Silesian University of Technology has been using a small-capacity (about 500 kWe) steam-gas power plant. Based on many yearsof experience in operation of this power plant utilizing the Velox-type gas-steam system, an idea arose to modify this type of thermal power cycle to create a combined heat and power (CHP) plant of small capacity, dedicated for distributed heat and power production of the range up to 500 kW or production process steam with high temperature. Previous thermodynamic and economic analysis of that type of CHP plant were conducted for natural gas as afuel. The new idea is use the alternative gas fuels or waste heat for Velox-type CHP plant. An adaptation of the Velox-type CHP plant for various fuelscan be done in simple way by moving the combustion chamber out from the setof heat exchangers, in similar way as it is done for HRSG. This paper presents a thermodynamic analysis of the Velox-type steam-gas cycle fired with various alternative gas fuels such as coke gas, blast furnace gas, biogas orgas from gasification. The systems are modelled in the EBSILON® Professional 13 program.

THE PURPOSE: The article presents the results of the development of a methodology for the design calculation of reliability and changes in the level of reliability of energy systems, taking into account the influence of control actions based on statistical methods of collection, analysis and models of experimental data processing.METHODS: The system analysis and generalization of experimental data on technological failures of the main equipment of thermal power plants were used in the calculation assessment.RESULTS: The objective function of controlling the reliability parameters of the thermal power plant power equipment is proposed. The approbation of the presented objective control function was performed, which showed the adequacy of the results obtained to assess the reliability of the main nodes and elements of the TPP power equipment.CONCLUSION: The results of the conducted studies show that when determining reliability indicators, it is necessary to take into account the actual technical condition of individual elements and resource-determining functional units of thermal power plant power equipment. The results obtained can be used to develop a methodology for evaluating control actions for calculating the output control parameters and a mathematical model for changing the output characteristics of TPP steam turbines in terms of heat and electric energy generation, as well as at the stage of developing design documentation for the creation of structural elements and practical recommendations in order to extend the service life of power equipment generating systems based on digital technologies.

This article presents the basic principles of pricing in the economy, examines the factors influencing the formation of tariffs in the energy sector. Using the example of the Sakmarskaya termal power stantion, the categories that determine the cost of finished products are distinguished. Measures are proposed that can reduce production costs and thereby reduce the cost of electric and thermal energy by about 1.5 times.
