This paper presents the modeling by Magnetic Equivalent Circuit model (MEC) of a Simple Excited Automotive Alternator (SE2A) where DC-excitation winding is transferred from rotor side to statorone rather than in conventional automotive claw pole alternators, to overcome the disadvantages of the ring-brush system. Following the resolution of the MEC using Newthon-Raphson numerical method, the alternator performances at both no-load and under resistive load regimes is achieved considering the saturation effect. It has been found that alternator’s performances carried out using the proposed MEC are with closed proximity to experimental records on a built prototype of the considered alternator.

This paper presents a versatile full-metal 3D periodic structure based on square waveguides with non-closed resonators perforated on their walls. The complex unit-cell architecture is modelled via accurate equivalent circuits, previously characterized. The circuit model predicts the excitation of phase resonance, which will be used to optimize and design different functionalities, such as polarisation converters or absorption.

To analyze the operation of the lead-acid battery of armored vehicles and facilitate the measurement of the state parameters, we need to see the lead-acid battery as a plurality of ideal components and establish the corresponding equivalent circuit model and characterize it. This paper describes several equivalent circuit models of commonly used lead-acid batteries, on this basis, we give the equivalent circuit model of lead-acid batteries of armored vehicles, and to analyze the variables of equivalent circuits.

Computer simulated complex immittance spectra of model equivalent circuits involving resistive and capacitive elements are calculated. A comparison of experimentally obtained complex immittance plots of the system Ca 1-x Y x Ti 1-x Co x O 3(x=0.05) with these simulated diagrams greatly facilitates the search for the most appropriate equivalent circuit representing the electrical properties of electronic ceramics.
