This paper discusses coupled orbital and attitude control in spacecraft rendezvous and soft docking. The target spacecraft orbit can be either circular or elliptic. The high-fidelity model for this problem is intrinsically a nonlinear system but can be viewed as a linear time-varying system. Therefore, a model predictive control-based design is proposed to deal with the time-varying feature of the problem. A robust pole assignment method is used in the model predictive control-based design because of the following merits and/or considerations: (a) no oscillation crossing the horizontal line for the relative position and relative attitude (between the target and the chaser spacecraft) to achieve soft docking by placing all closed-loop poles in the negative real axis of the complex plan, which will avoid collision between the target and the chaser in the docking stage, (b) fast online computation, (c) measurement and control error tolerance, and (d) disturbance rejection. This paper will discuss these considerations and merits and use some design examples to demonstrate that the desired performance is indeed achieved.

Sensor assignment is an important issue in the collaborative tracking, a good sensor assignment method can improve the efficiency of collaborative tracking. This paper proposes a filtering based sensor assignment modeling method. The method uses relation of set theory to establish the sensor target assignment scheme model, combines the sensor assignment scheme with the filter, regards each sensor detect program as an filtering, and chooses the best scheme according to error upper limit of filtering. This modeling method does not need assumption of statistical characteristics of the target.

This research is a classroom action research conducted at SD Negeri 001 Empat Balai, this research is basedon: (a) lack of ability of teacher in making learning device; (b) learning devices are only used as a complementand not for teaching needs; and (c) some teachers again if they are asked the learning device answer has no orhas not made it. Based on this research, researchers conducted research by applying the method of assigningtasks to improve the ability of teachers in making learning tools. This study was conducted in two cycles, eachcycle is implemented based on four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results ofresearch indicate that the ability of teachers in making learning devices increases. This is seen in the first cycleof 59% with good enough category and in the second cycle increased to 76% with Excellent category. Based onthis data, it can be concluded that the application of assignment method can improve teacher ability in makingSD Negeri 001 Empat Balai learning tool.
