Abstract Conflicting evidence and fuzzy evidence have a significant impact on the results of evidence combination in the application of evidence theory. However, the existing weight assignment methods can hardly reflect the significant influence of fuzzy evidence on the combination results. Therefore, a new method for assigning evidence weights and the corresponding combination rule are proposed. The proposed weight assignment method strengthens the consideration of fuzzy evidence and introduces the Wasserstein distance to compute the clarity degree of evidence which is an important reference index for weight assignment in the proposed combination rule and can weaken the effect of ambiguous evidence effectively. In the experiments, it's firstly verified that the impact of fuzzy evidence on the combination results is significant; therefore it should be fully considered in the weight assignment process. Then, the proposed combination rule with new weight assignment method is tested on a set of numerical arithmetic and Iris datasets. Compared with four existing methods, the results show that the proposed method has higher decision accuracy, F1 score, better computational convergence, and more reliable fusion results as well.

Background: This research discusses the problem of the use of English citation by some college students in helping with their assignments. There is still no research about this topic, on the other hand, this is actually important for education. From the problem discussed here, the main point is to know, "Do college students often use English citations in their assignments and understand the citations they have taken?" Purpose: This research aims to know how far Indonesian students' comprehension is to the English citation which they used to help their academic writing for their college assignment. Method: The method used in this study is qualitative, the method that focused on observation to obtain a more comprehensive phenomenon study. In this research, we use data that have already been taken and collected from 62 college students and 15 of them have conducted the interview process to take further information from them. Results: It shows that the majority of college students in this research prefer to use Indonesian citations because they can understand more compared with the English one.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to construct a task assignment model for U-shaped production lines with collaborative task, which is optimized by minimizing the number of workers and balancing the workload of the operators. The ultimate goal is to increase productivity by increasing the U-line balance and balancing the load on the operators. Design/methodology/approach First, task selection and update mechanism are analyzed and the task selection mechanism suitable for collaborative task is proposed. Second, M-COMOSAL is obtained by improving the original COMOSAL. Finally, The M-COMOSAL algorithm and the COMAOSAL algorithm are used to perform job assignment on the double-acting clutch U-shaped assembly line. Findings According to the allocation scheme obtained by M-COMSOAL, the beat can be adjusted according to the change of order demand. The final allocation scheme is superior to the COMSOAL algorithm in terms of number of workers, working time, production tempo and balance rate. In particular, compared with the old scheme, the new scheme showed a decrease of 16.7% in the number of employees and a 18.8% increase in the production line balance rate. Thus, the method is helpful to reduce the number of operators and balance the workload. Originality/value The new algorithm proposed in this paper for the assignment of collaborative task can minimize the number of workers and balance the load of operators, which is of great significance for improving the balance rate of U-shaped production lines and the utilization of personnel or equipment.

This study aims to determine the effect of the recitation (assignment) method on science learning outcomes for V grade students in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a Quasi-Experimental type of research with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The population in this study were all V grade students at SDN 2 Kekeri totaling 36 students and the technique used in sampling was saturated sampling technique where class VA was the control class and class VB was the experimental class. The data collection technique in this study was a test of students' cognitive learning outcomes in science. Data on students' cognitive science learning outcomes were analyzed using the t-test (t-test) Separated Variance with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the statistical analysis of the t-test, the results of tcount > ttable are 4,680 > 2,034, which means that there is an influence of the recitation method (assignment) on the science learning outcomes of V grade students of SDN 2 Kekeri Academic Year 2021/2022. The difference is 15.74 (78.29-62.55). Based on the calculation of the gain test on students' science learning outcomes, which is indicated by an average <g> of the experimental class of 0.562 in the medium category, higher than the control class average, which is 0.288 in the low category. Thus, it strengthens the conclusion that there is an effect of using the recitation method (assignment) on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kekeri Academic Year 2021/2022.

Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out to overcome the low science learning outcomes of Class IVa students at SD Negeri 192 Pekanbaru. This science learning problem is solved by applying the recitation method or giving assignment. This Classroom Action Research aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of Science Class IVa students at SD Negeri 192 Pekanbaru by using the Recitation Method. This classroom action research is expected to be useful for writers, students, schools, and the Pekanbaru City Education Office. Based on research conducted by the author that by using the Resit Method, the learning outcomes of science on the human skeleton, its functions, and maintenance of Grade IVa students of SD Negeri 192 Pekanbaru increased significantly. Prior to the study the classical average was 67.40 or sufficient; in the first cycle to 68.40 (enough); and the result of the second cycle is 79.60 (competent). Completed or achieved KKM individually and classically increased; initially only 16 or 43.20% of students have finished studying; cycle I to 23 students or 62.20%; and in the second cycle as many as 34 students or 91.90%. In cycle II, learning was considered successful because students who achieved the KKM (70) were above 85%. Participants who fail will be given remedial learning. The results of observations, Class IVa students of SD Negeri 192 Pekanbaru using the Assignment Method, students study more diligently and study science more diligently. With the development of robot technology, integrated joints with small volume and convenient installation have been widely used. Based on the double inertia system, an integrated joint motor servo system model considering gear angle error and friction interference is established, and a joint control strategy based on BP neural network and pole assignment method is designed to suppress the vibration of the system. Firstly, the dynamic equation of a planetary gear system is derived based on the Lagrange method, and the gear vibration of angular displacement is calculated. Secondly, the vibration displacement of the sun gear is introduced into the motor servo system in the form of the gear angle error, and the double inertia system model including angle error and friction torque is established. Then, the PI controller parameters are determined by pole assignment method, and the PI parameters are adjusted in real time based on the BP neural network, which effectively suppresses the vibration of the system. Finally, the effects of friction torque, pole damping coefficient and control strategy on the system response and the effectiveness of vibration suppression are analyzed.

Calculation of the control forces by control algorithms, such as the pole assignment, proportional-integral-derivative, and linear quadratic regulator, is usually based on initial dynamic characteristics of the intact and undamaged structure, which is considered to be in the ideal conditions. However, because of the effect of natural loads and damage due to aging, these features can change during the structure’s life span, eventually leading to incorrect control forces. In this research, to overcome this problem and to get closer to the actual dynamic characteristics and on the other hand, in order to elude the adverse effects of real-time identification, such as elapsed time of detection, induced to the controller, the intermitted wavelet-based identification technique besides the pole assignment control is introduced. Performance of the proposed controller on three- and five-story with different cases of stiffness and two failure scenarios, under far and near-field earthquakes, are examined and compared by non-updated wavelet-based pole assignment, proportional-integral-derivative and linear quadratic regulator controllers. Results show that damaged structure response controlled by the suggested adapted pole assignment method is significantly reduced compared to ones controlled by other control methods.
