Cascaded H-bridges inverter has been gaining its ground in recent years because it can satisfy high voltage and power applications with medium volume semiconductors; however, it uses much more semiconductors than the traditional inverters which would increase the fault possibilities. Just because this case Cascaded H-bridges inverter is limited in many important industrial fields. In this paper, we, firstly, discussed the basic unit of Cascaded H-bridges inverter (namely, full-bridge inverter) and classify its inner faults, then we proposed a method to spot the faulty IGBT using neural network. We have also done lots of jobs on this fields which could be seen in the papers of our team.

In this paper, the conceptual model of risk-based cost estimation for completing tasks within supply chain is presented. This model is a hybrid. Its main unit is based on Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS). Due to the fact that the important and difficult to evaluate input information is vector of risk-occur probabilities the use of artificial intelligence method was proposed. The model assumes the use of fuzzy logic or artificial neural networks – depending on the availability of historical data. The presented model could provide support to managers in making valuation decisions regarding various tasks in supply chain management.

Estimation of costs is important in every phase of realisation of construction projects. However, the influence of cost estimation is the highest in early phases as it is then that the decision about accepting the job or withdrawing from the project is made. The quantity of data available in initial phases of the project is smaller compared to subsequent phases, which affects accuracy of cost estimation in such early phases. A research making use of artificial intelligence to estimate construction costs of integral road bridges is presented in the paper. The estimation model is prepared by means of neural networks. The best neural network model has proven to be highly accurate in the estimation of costs based on the mean absolute error, which amounts to 13.40 %.

Most high-voltage faults are caused by the insulation degradation of electrical equipment, while partial discharge is the main reason of insulation breakdown of electrical equipment. This paper introduces partial discharge types of GIS, transformer, switchgear and other substation equipment based on the study of partial discharge types and summarizes five types of partial discharge of substation equipment, namely: spike discharge, free particle discharge, insulation defects discharge, surface discharge and suspended click discharge.
