This article designs one constant pressure water supply system based on PLC. In this system, PLC and frequency converter is the main control system. Moreover, the water-supply system with a variable frequency and constant pressure is based on PCL and combines with water supply pump, pressure gage and other equipment. Water supply system realizes the water supply of constant pressure and variable flow.

This paper provides a design for a PLC-based, variable-frequency governing, pressure-constant, automatic water-supply control system. This design is based on the current situations at the water supply plants found in small and medium cities in China. In this control system, the pressure signal across the pipe network is acquired by pressure sensors and then transmitted to PID modules in the PLC in order to control switching between pump motors. At the same time, the PLC is connected with a personal computer for industrial control purposes. On this computer, monitoring and control software has been installed in order to monitor and control the pressure-constant water-supply system on a real-time basis.

In view of the traditional double motor constant pressure water supply system without tower in the operation process of the problem of short service life, the design of a new type of dual voltage no tower water supply control system. The control system uses PLC, soft starter and frequency converter technology, the soft starter can make the motor to realize soft start and soft stop, no impact on the motor, can extend the service life of the motor, avoid pumping station "door" damage, reduce repair costs and repair work. The running results show that, after the reformation of water supply system can save more than 21% energy, but also improve the quality and reliability of the water supply.

The Principle diagram is analyzed, the Control System flow chart and Software program are designed. A new energy-saving method of variable frequency and constant pressure water supply system based on fuzzy control theory and software control technique is presented in this paper. Firstly, collecting the pipe network pressure periodically through the pressure sensor, the differential pressure signal will be sent into fuzzy controller after comparing the pipe network pressure with the set pressure. Then send a precise control quantity into the PID regulator to control output frequency of the frequency converter after a series of fuzzy arithmetic and solution of fuzzy arithmetic, so as to achieve the purpose of pump speed and consumed power controlling. The operating principle of variable frequency and constant pressure water supply system and the design procedures of software programming are elaborated. Practical application shows that the variable frequency and constant pressure water supply system based on fuzzy control has good effect on energy saving and obvious economic benefits and is worth popularizing and applying.

Force fan is widely used in various industries. To regulate the gas pressure by regulating valve opening degree is not conducive to energy saving, but also affect the service life of the equipment. In this paper designed a constant pressure plenum system, using the converter as a controller and governor execution unit. Practical operation in one energy company shows, the system run stable, achieve the constant pressure air supply requirements, error within permitted. Thinking working 300 days one year, the system can reduce more than 50% energy consumption than the valve control pressure mode.
