Currently parking system that is running in Pt. Sanggraha Daksamitra still uses a conventional parking system. When the driver wants to do parking, driver first presses the analog button on the parking gate to get a parking ticket. Lack of maintenance on the parking gate causes vehicle jams in the parking entrance area. To minimize errors that occur, the fishbone diagram analysis method is used to analyze the problem. After the problem was found, a parking reservation was developed that used qr-code as a scanner identification in the parking system. The system produced in this study is expected to facilitate parking drivers who want to park their vehicles in the parking area of Pt. Sanggraha Daksamitra. The results of this system will be tested using blackbox testing.

In today’s world, parking area constitutes nearly most of traffic congestion is caused by vehicles cruising around their destination and looking for a place to park. Due to this reason many day-to-day activities are affected such as waste of time, fuel wastage, frustration to drivers, theft fear, pollution etc. These factors motivated to pave a new method for smart parking system. In this method the detection is reliable, even when tests are performed using images captured from a different viewpoint. It also provides to design a highly reliable & compatible image segmentation measures for parking slot identification system and a user key driven data base measures to detect the vehicle using theft alarm system.

The vehicles are parked in parking lots. These parking lots are found in malls, offices etc. These parking slots are marked on the ground with different size based on vehicles. An Automated Parking System transports vehicles from the entrance to a parking space that is available. Prior to this, car owners must make a reservation for specific parking lot. It takes time for new members to register and have parking assigned to them. An automated parking allotting app is created as well as a hardware implementation for this project. The owner of a car parking lot may sign up and build a parking facility in his area by registering the location and installing a Raspberry Pi with camera, which will automatically update the available parking spaces. The user find available parking slots using app and book a special slot for his or her car. A QR code will be generated, and the customer's bill will be generated based on in-time and out-of-time scanning. This method would be able to save time for car owners as well as and the amount of labor needed to complete the process as a result of this. As a result, this project saves time while also automating the process.

With the growth in population, traffic congestion and parking have become a serious problem. There is the explosive growth of the per capita amount of vehicles. In this paper, a Location-Based Shared Smart Parking System is proposed to solve the parking problem. This system is designed for both private and public parking areas. This system helps the user to find the nearest possible parking area and gives the information related to the availability of parking slots in that respective parking area. The main focus of this system is to reduce the time for finding the parking slot and also avoids unnecessary travelling through occupied parking slots in a parking area. The proposed system is designed using IoT technology, WSN(IR sensors), QR code and RFID technology. IR sensors are used to detect the presence of the car in the parking slot and QR code is used to authenticate the user in the public parking area, RFID technology is used to authenticate the user in private parking area. The system is expected to reduce traffic problems, fuel consumption which results in reduces carbon footprints in an atmosphere.
