English
The accelerating demand growth as reflected by significant increase of potato consumption per capita indicates high potential of potato development in Indonesia. Potato production in Magetan Regency in recent years, however, has been fluctuating, perhaps due to some weaknesses in its supply chains. The objective of this study, therefore, is to formulate a sustainable supply chain development strategy for potato in Magetan Regency. The study was conducted using the Sustainable Supply Chain Management perspective and the Analytical Network Process. The study was conducted in 2016. The results show that development of sustainable supply chain is the key for accelerating and stabilization of potato production growth. Although the economic dimension is the highest priority, the social and environmental dimensions are almost equally important as well. While varietal and technological choice should be based on the highest profit, it nevertheless should also be socially acceptable and environmentally friendly, such as the Granola variety in Magetan Regency. The priority actors are farmers, government, and traders (collectors and wholesalers). The priority strategic action programs are increasing potato farming product quality and productivity, increasing potato value added, and empowering of farmers and farmers’ groups.
Keywords:

Based on the existing literature, this paper proposes two assumptions and designs a set of ecological supply chain performance evaluation indicators system. Because these indicators are interdependence for each other, this paper selects the analytic network process and builds the ANP network model to evaluate the degree of ecological supply chain management practice among Chinese manufacturing enterprises. The evaluation results show that there is different level indeed about the ecological supply chain management level; the better the ecological supply chain management practice degree is, the more quickly the ecological supply chain management performance levels increase.

Green supply chain management is being concerned for both development and eminent difficulties are observed through supply chain mining activities. In Mining Industry, All the exercises engaged with extraction, generation, circulation add to ecological concerns. The ecological and health problem are still now prevailing due to uncaring in green supply chain activities. In our thesis the environmental problems are categorized as main factors and sub factors by collecting opinion from industrial experts & reputed literature survey. The main factors and sub- factors are rated and evaluated by one of the multi criteria decision making tool (MCDM) i.e Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (ANP). According to AHP, the main factors and sub factors are rated and arranged as more affecting factor to environment based on global value attained. As the result, it was found that the most influencing factors are Impact on land and its sub factors.

This paper proposes a decision model with a dashboard for systematically selecting and improving the performance of supplier in green supply chain management. The model combines both the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory-based analytical network process (DANP) with a fuzzy integral method. The DANP method is used to construct the network system and derives the weights. The fuzzy integral method is applied to avoid inconsistent assumptions between the interdependence relation and linear aggregation for obtaining the aspiration-gaps of green suppliers. Last, the visualized dashboard allows for a clear representation of the interdependent-network structure of the attributes to assist companies in the selection of suitable suppliers, as well as assisting the suppliers in improving their performance with higher levels of service. A Taiwanese Electronics Company is demonstrated as an example. The results demonstrate that the dashboard can enable managers to make better decisions from a systematic perspective.

PurposeData-driven quality management systems, brought about by the implementation of digitisation and digital technologies, is an integral part of improving supply chain management performance. The purpose of this study is to determine a methodology to aid the implementation of digital technologies and digitisation of the supply chain to enable data-driven quality management and the reduction of waste from manufacturing processes.Design/methodology/approachMethodologies from both the quality management and data science disciplines were implemented together to test their effectiveness in digitalising a manufacturing process to improve supply chain management performance. The hybrid digitisation approach to process improvement (HyDAPI) methodology was developed using findings from the industrial use case.FindingsUpon assessment of the existing methodologies, Six Sigma and CRISP-DM were found to be the most suitable process improvement and data mining methodologies, respectively. The case study revealed gaps in the implementation of both the Six Sigma and CRISP-DM methodologies in relation to digitisation of the manufacturing process.Practical implicationsValuable practical learnings borne out of the implementation of these methodologies were used to develop the HyDAPI methodology. This methodology offers a pragmatic step by step approach for industrial practitioners to digitally transform their traditional manufacturing processes to enable data-driven quality management and improved supply chain management performance.Originality/valueThis study proposes the HyDAPI methodology that utilises key elements of the Six Sigma DMAIC and the CRISP-DM methodologies along with additions proposed by the author, to aid with the digitisation of manufacturing processes leading to data-driven quality management of operations within the supply chain.
