This study aims to examine the effect of sustainable supply chain management on company performance mediated by competitive advantage, the subjects of this study were the actors of the pottery Joint Business Group (JBG) in Banten Province, Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive research and causal research using questionnaires distributed directly to the JBG Pottery actors as many as 100 respondents. Moreover, Structural Equation Model (SEM) in the SmartPLS Software version 3.0.m3 (SmartPLS GmbH: Bönningstedt, Germany) was used for data analysis. The results of the study found that sustainable supply chain management affects competitive advantage, company performance was also observed to be influenced by sustainable supply chain management and competitive advantage while company performance was also found to be affected by sustainable supply chain management through the mediating effect of competitive advantage. The significant implication of this study is for managers to ensure competitiveness in the process of implementing sustainability supply chain to improve company performance, while providing recommendations to the government through Disperindagkop and SMEs in conducting the assistance process to MSMEs.

Most of the existing supply chain management methods and systems are being transferred to construction sphere regardless of the specifics of companies in the construction sector. Numerous complex factors such as ecological, social and economic are required for the continuous evaluation in the modern management of construction sector. The provided studies and the research to examine sustainable supply chain management in construction sector from a holistic perspective, concentrating on mostly longterm sustainable decision­making by the construction company rather than being centered only on the supply chain management for construction projects. This paper identifies a list of sustainability indicators for examining the supply chains of construction companies. Those indicators were categorized and assigned to one or a couple groups by reviewing their use in the previous literature agreeing to the reasoning to way better reflect the SSCM principle of their use in construction companies. The use of indicators can help develop strategies for the construction sector for sustainable policy makers and construction company managers.

The fragility of the global economy during the COVID-19 outbreak has shown the importance of supply chain sustainability. Although academic interest in the concept of sustainable supply chain management has risen significantly in the last decades, this concept has lately attracted the attention of policymakers as one of the dynamics of the “new normal” in the post-COVID-19 era. This study was carried out to highlight the dynamics of SSCM in the post-COVID-19 era, based on the recent developments in sustainable supply chain literature. Hence, the bibliometric analysis method was utilized by using various software packages. The data collected for this research consists of the finding of the search results of the “Sustainable Supply Chain Management” phrase from the Web of Science database for the period of 1975 – 2021. In total, 326 articles have been included in the analyses.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to explore the increased research attention gained by sustainability in food supply chain management. Although previous review studies have focused on aspects such as traceability, food safety, and performance measurement, sustainability has rarely been considered as a means of integrating these issues.Design/methodology/approachThe paper presents a comprehensive review of the literature on food sustainable supply chain management (FSSCM). Using systematic review methods, relevant studies published from 1997 to early 2021 are explored to reveal the research landscape and the gaps and trends.FindingsThe paper shows the building blocks and the main research directions in FSSCM, particularly considering the opportunities in “neglected” emerging countries. Insights are provided into the various elements of the sustainability supply chain in the food industry, which have previously been analysed separately.Originality/valueOnly a few researchers have systematically reviewed the literature or taken a bibliometric approach in their analyses to provide an overview of the current trends and links between sustainability and food supply chain management.
