The article presents some special aspects of applying project-based learning in the practice of training abroad. What makes this study topical is the need to find new ways to solve important problems of higher technical education, and to improve the quality of training specialists in engineering areas. The article considers the main characteristics of project-based learning, presents its theoretical foundations, clarifies the goals of applying this technology in training specialists in the field of engineering and technology, analyzes the strategies for introducing this technology into the practice of a higher technical school abroad. As a result of the study, it is concluded that it is preferable to use a mixed approach, which includes implementation of project and problem-based learning, along with traditional technologies, when training specialists in the field of engineering and technology.

Learning activities carried out online have several drawbacks. In online learning activities, teachers experience problems carrying out learning activities. These obstacles include the lack of appropriate media to be used in learning activities. The problems that occur indicate that in learning activities students have difficulty in understanding learning materials and learning motivation is still low. Therefore, in learning activities, teachers must prepare quality learning. One of the efforts that can be done to overcome these problems is through the use of appropriate learning media. So that it can improve the process and better learning outcomes. This study uses a research and development (R&D) approach. The purpose of this research is to develop learning technology in the form of interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning. The steps used in this research and development is the ADDIE development model. The research data was obtained through a media validation sheet instrument by an expert. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively descriptively. The results of the media feasibility test based on the validation results obtained a value of 80%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning is feasible to be used in learning activities. The results of this study imply that the use of interactive multimedia based on problem-based learning plays an important role in the effectiveness of learning activities.

The aim of the article is to establish the basic elements of the use of problem-based learning in HEIs. The three-phase process of implementing the technology of problem-based learning is presented. The results of the implementation of problem-based learning aimed at the development of pre-professional competencies, knowledge transfer, satisfaction and achievement, adequacy of time and effort are presented. The positive role of problem-based learning through understanding the meaning of the course; ability to self-study; ability to learn together; interest in science; ability to solve scientific problems in everyday life. The best models of problem-based learning (Flipped learning-PBL, TBL, CPS, AL-models) are identified. Were noted strategies of activation, which were used in the system PBL (a clear presentation of the focus; confidence in the student potential; stimulation of desire to solve difficult problems; planning for participation; presentation and enticement of unique point of view of the student; the possibility of presentation; gaining competence). The practical value of the study was to present the links of the elements of problem-based learning aimed at its successful implementation in HEIs.

The article discusses the preparation of tasks for informatics lessons with the use of problem-based learning. At all times, the request of society for the preparation of a creative person who knows how to think independently, set goals, make decisions, is relevant. Problem-based learning is one of the methods those promote the involvement of students in active independent activity, the formation of skills for solving problem situations. As part of the study, the author's methodology for design of informatics lessons using problem-based learning is presented. Indicators and relative scales for assessing the results of educational activity of students are developed. The criteria for evaluating the learning technology are shown. An example of a lesson design is considered, an analysis of the results and training technology is carried out, conclusions are drawn on the adjustment of the designed lesson.
