Recently, The Internet of Things (IoT) has been implemented and become an interesting topic for discussion. IoT is a method that aims to maximize the benefits of Internet connectivity to transfer and process data or information through an internet network wirelessly, virtual and autonomous. One of the IoT's utilization is automation system. The automation system generally uses a timer for the plant watering process. The use of timers aims to water the plants routinely without human assistance. The development of this automation system begins with the making of the prototype of chili land in the field 5 x 2.5 meters, then compile the required components and how it works. Further programming of sensors to Raspberry Pi as a controller in the system based on the conditions that have been set and changes in temperature received by the sensor. As a result, the system has been successfully done automatic watering, both on a regular basis (at 06.00 and 18.00) and cooling watering. Cooling is done if the temperature exceeds more than 30 degrees Celsius. The automation system promises to be applied to the utilization of land around the house.

There is a lack of knowledge among food manufacturers about adopting the Internet of Things (IoT)-based water monitoring system and its ability to support water minimisation activities. It is therefore necessary to investigate the applicability of IoT-based real-time water monitoring systems in a real food manufacturing environment to pursue water-saving opportunities accordingly. This article aims to propose an architecture of an IoT-based water-monitoring system needed for real-time monitoring of water usage, and address any water inefficiencies within food manufacturing. This article looks at a study conducted in a food beverage factory where an IoT-based real-time water monitoring system is implemented to analyse the complete water usage in order to devise solutions and address water overconsumption/wastage during the manufacturing process. The successful implementation of an IoT-based real-time water monitoring system offered the beverage factory a detailed analysis of the water consumption and insights into the water hotspots that needed attention. This action initiated several water-saving project opportunities, which contributed to the improvement of water sustainability and led to an 11% reduction in the beverage factory’s daily water usage.

Internet of Things is one concept in technology 4.0, this technology combine of two component, that is internet and mechine. Internet use to send signal from mechine to second device like mobilephone or from the mobilephone to mechine to execution task. Information Technnology infrastructure in industrial company has many complexity in network, hardware, or software. Especially for hardware like desktop computer or laptop, ech employee has one of them. And many of them, sometime forget to shutdown they computer or they has purpose did not shutdown they computer just for download the big file. Indirectly, the computer that run more than 24 hours in industrial company, it will be degrade service of life, and the consumption of electricity need the high cost. In this paper, our purpose is how to reduce computer that not needed run 24 hours can be monitor and can be shutdown in the out of company area. This is need concept of internet of things and digitalitation to make it. For this problem can be used monitoring system by mobile application, this system will be show about the host computer still be on, and can be remote shutdown with mobile device. This application use cordova to build it and the command from mobile be send to server to shutdown computer that still online.

This paper presents a case study in the creation and utilization of an Internet of Things (IoT) device. An Arduino-based gas leak detector is utilized for the demonstration of IoT technologies and their advantages. The gas leak detection device focuses on detection of Liquified Petroleum gas. Upon detection of a leak, the device can communicate over the internet using cellular networks, thus helping to alleviate Wi-Fi and ethernet failure issues such as loss of power in a natural disaster. Because of the device’s resilience, it can help ensure the user is notified of the emergency as soon as possible. This automated gas leak monitoring system is reliable and will not be put out of action in a disaster or emergency situation.
