<p class="Abstract">Internet of Things is one concept in technology 4.0, this technology combine of two component, that is internet and mechine. Internet use to send signal from mechine to second device like mobilephone or from the mobilephone to mechine to execution task. Information Technnology infrastructure in industrial company has many complexity in network, hardware, or software. Especially for hardware like desktop computer or laptop, ech employee has one of them. And many of them, sometime forget to shutdown they computer or they has purpose did not shutdown they computer just for download the big file. Indirectly, the computer that run more than 24 hours in industrial company, it will be degrade service of life, and the consumption of electricity need the high cost. In this paper, our purpose is how to reduce computer that not needed run 24 hours can be monitor and can be shutdown in the out of company area. This is need concept of internet of things and digitalitation to make it. For this problem can be used monitoring system by mobile application, this system will be show about the host computer still be on, and can be remote shutdown with mobile device. This application use cordova to build it and the command from mobile be send to server to shutdown computer that still online. </p>

With the recent developments in Internet of Things (IoT) and the increase of smartphone users, patient’s health can be monitored without visiting the hospital for medical services. Nowadays, the cost of healthcare is high and insufficient of workforce in the hospital caused the patient unwilling to visit the hospital. The proposed work is to design a monitoring system using sensor and microcontroller to be used by the patients at their place (eg. home). This paper discusses the designing process of the framework. This system will allow the patient to measure their pulse rate and body temperature by using sensors and data collected from the sensor are integrated by using a microcontroller. These acquired patients data could be viewed in mobile application. In addition, the system will provide features such as consultation or chat facility and medical reminder to further improve the feasibility of patients’ health care system.

In today’s era, wildlife and forest departments are facing the problem of movement of animals from forests to residential area. The number of trees has reduced drastically which creates an unhealthy environment for animals and for humans. Findings of a survey suggest that 80% losses are caused due to wildfire. This could have been avoided if the fire was detected in the early stages. This paper suggests a system for alarming the authorities in case of a bushfire. Nowadays, IoT (Internet of Things) devices and sensors allow the monitoring of the forest ecosystem, such as temperature and smoke. Arduino platform based IoT enabled fire detector and monitoring system is the solution to this problem. In this paper, fire detector using Arduino NANO is built which is interfaced with a fire sensor and smoke sensor. Whenever fire occurs, the system automatically senses and alerts the administrator by sending the message on the user’s mobile device.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. Remote patient monitoring enables the monitoring of patients’ vital signs outside the conventional clinical settings which may increase access to care and decrease healthcare delivery costs. This paper focuses on implementing internet of things in a remote patient medical monitoring system. This was achieved by writing two computer applications in java in which one simulates a mobile phone called the Intelligent Personal Digital Assistant (IPDA) which uses a data structure that includes age, smoking habits and alcohol intake to simulate readings for blood pressure, pulse rate and mean arterial pressure continuously every twenty five which it sends to the server. The second java application protects the patients’ medical records as they travel through the networks by employing a symmetric key encryption algorithm which encrypts the patients’ medical records as they are generated and can only be decrypted in the server only by authorized personnel. The result of this research work is the implementation of internet of things in a remote patient medical monitoring system where patients’ vital signs are generated and transferred to the server continuously without human intervention.

These days, the use of Internet technology can be found in almost every sector of human life. One of the advanced Internet technologies is Internet of Things (IoT), that is a technology where devices can communicate via Internet connectivity. It is used in many vital industries like automotive, electricity, home automation, and healthcare. This study aims to implement IoT technology for healthcare sector, i.e. in helping obesity people to pursue their weight-loss program (WLP). The result is a system which consists of a smart weight scale, a mobile application, and food menu recommendation database in order to help obesity people in their WLP program. A trial to some obesity patients is performed to collect data. Index Terms—Internet of things; overweight; weight loss program; food recommendation
