QSNFC: Quick and secured near field communication for the Internet of Things

NFC devices are used in contactless payment systems, similar to those used in credit cards electronic ticket smartcards and allow mobile payment to replace and supplement these systems. Specifically, combining NFC enabled devices or NFC mobile phones with RFID tags offers additional benefits when compared to traditional RFID solutions. When an application requires that a device have frequent interaction with tags at numerous process points, the high expense of using traditional handheld RFID readers is cost prohibitive. By replacing handheld readers with NFC-enabled phones at data collection points, the ROI for the application increases. HID Trusted Tag® Services is an example of an application that combines HID Global's patented Near Field Communication (NFC) trusted tag technology and cloud-based authentication platform to add unique and trusted identities to everyday objects that can be read by NFC-enabled mobile devices. This is ideal for establishing proof of presence, digital out of home (DOOH) and electronic visitor verification (EVV) and also serves as a real-world application of the Internet of Things (IoT) that has been discussed in Chapter 1. Some of the examples of NFC based mobile devices is discussed in the chapter.

The IoT network is used to provide an object with connectivity to the Internet to allow the feedback of information. The IoT has the ambition to make objects interact with each other and with people. It promises to be the engine of great transformations in the lives of individuals by democratizing new uses and services in the mobility sector. This is why it is compared to the internet of the future. The global size of the IoT, the huge number of Things in the IoT, the changing topology of the IoT, and the resource constraints make routing in the IoT difficult. Routing is a necessary process in the Internet of Things because it enables the interchange of data between Things by quickly guiding and reliably delivering data through the network from its origins to its destinations. The Internet of Things is enabled by key pillars: radio frequency identification (RFID) and wireless sensor networks (WSNs) (IoT), NFC (Near Field Communication), BLE (Bluetooth Low-Energy technology), LoRa and Sigfox. This paper examines these different technologies as well as the barriers and challenges that must be solved.

The existing stand-alone multimedia machines and online multimedia machines in the market have certain deficiencies, so they cannot meet the actual needs. Based on this, this research combines the actual needs to design and implement a multi-media system based on the Internet of Things and cloud service platform. Moreover, through in-depth research on the MQTT protocol, this study proposes a message encryption verification scheme for the MQTT protocol, which can solve the problem of low message security in the Internet of Things communication to a certain extent. In addition, through research on the fusion technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, this research designs scheme to provide a LightGBM intelligent prediction module interface, MQTT message middleware, device management system, intelligent prediction and push interface for the cloud platform. Finally, this research completes the design and implementation of the cloud platform and tests the function and performance of the built multimedia system database. The research results show that the multimedia database constructed in this paper has good performance.

The economic diversification concept gives hope for a country with rich natural resources to strengthen its economic basis. Thus industrial revolution era of 4.0 provides great opportunity to fasten the process. A study by McKensey in 2011 proved that the internet in the developing country contributes around 3.4% towards its GDP which means that the internet has become a new hope for the economy in the future. Indonesia is one of the countries that is attempting to maximize the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) for its economic growth.� The attempt has made the retail and tourism industries as the two main sectors to experience the significant effect of IoT. In the process of optimizing the IoT to support the economic growth, Indonesia faces several issues especially in the term of the internet network quality and its distribution, the inclusive access of financial access and the infrastructure
