Kertas ini mengulas isu pelaksanaan sistem pengurusan kualiti dalam sesebuah organisasi. Penerangan am berkaitan ISO 9000 diberikan untuk memberikan kefahaman awal. Perbincangan dimulakan dengan analisis tumpuan dalam kajian sebelum ini. Lanjutan daripada itu, perbincangan dan ulasan akhirnya tertumpu kepada isu pelaksanaan ISO 9000, motif pensijilan dan kesan ke atas prestasi organisasi. Perbincangan dan ulasan yang dibuat adalah bersandarkan kepada dapatan kajian–kajian empirikal lalu. Pengajaran yang dapat dicungkil daripada perbincangan dan ulasan tersebut ialah pelaksanaan ISO 9000 mestilah dibuat atas dasar penambahbaikan kualiti bagi menikmati kesan positif yang berganda dalam jangka panjang. Kata kunci: ISO 9000; prestasi organisasi; pengurusan kualiti menyeluruh; jaminan kualiti; kepuasan pelanggan This paper comments on the issue of quality management system implementation in an organization. General explanation on ISO 9000 is given to provide basic understanding on the subject. Analysis of the focus of studies in previous research was done to initiate the discussion. The following discussions and comments are focused on the issue of ISO 9000 implementation, certification motives and its impact on the performance of an organization. The discussions and comments are based on previous empirical findings. Finally, the lesson that can be learned from previous empirical research is that in order to gain positive impact in the long run, ISO 9000 should be implemented for quality improvement. However, it is observed that the literature principally focuses on implementation consequences of them. In this study, ISO 9000 Quality Management System certification process in a faculty of a Turkish public university is taken into consideration. However, the study focuses on not only consequences of taking this certification but also its' triggers and processes. To examine these triggers, processes and consequences, data collection methods of the study were semi-structured interviews and unstructured participative observation. In addition, extensive amount of document was used to make triangulation.

Quality management in the project is of considerable importance from both an economic and a social point of view. The bridge construction project is located on the local road networks and focuses on many complex problems and issues that can be effectively solved by the quality management process. The research is to identify the best system for quality management in the bridge construction project. Quality Management plays an important role in the entire construction process. Total Quality Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Control ranked highest respectively as a part of quality management practices being followed in projects. Finding defects early will save you a lot of money, and you will see the project proceed as expected. The results of this study will document the early defects and solutions to it which help to improve the quality system of bridge construction projects. It focuses on providing a tool and idea to improve quality management for the construction. It also assists the contractor, consultancy and customer to understand best practices for the quality management system used in the bridge construction process.

This study was conducted based on Davis's extended technology acceptance model (TAM) (1989) and survey data of 486 petroleum and liquefied gas enterprises in Vietnam on their intention to apply using a total quality management (TQM) system. Research results show that factors such as (1) Perception of the effectiveness of TQM; (2) Perception of the effectiveness of the convenience in using TQM; and (3) Perception of the effectiveness of TQM compared to the old system which has a positive impact on the intention to apply the total quality management system in petroleum and liquefied petroleum gas enterprises in Vietnam. Besides, the perception of decision-makers on issues related to quality management in these enterprises also has a direct influence on the perception of the TQM usability and indirect effect of the intention to use TQM application in these enterprises.

This study aims to study the Comprehensive Total Quality Management On king Khalid University In Saudi Arabia to better performance. The main problem is that quality standers from one time to another are changeable, and universities should update the quality system to enhance organizational performance. For data analysis and hypothesis testing, the S.E.M. tool and several statistical methods such as the maximum likelihood estimate and regression technique will be utilized to understand the dimensionality of the variables. Based on research findings, theoretical and practical implications will be discussed. Limitations and recommendations for future research were also highlighted.
