A Multimodal Environment for the Simulation and Training of Maintenance Operations: A Case Study

The paper describes the development of a multimodal environment that can be used as a tool to train operators to perform maintenance tasks of industrial products during their lifecycle. The environment provides a visual and haptic representation of a product through the use of commercially-available hardware and software technologies. The new environment mixes interactive simulations of products, based on Virtual Reality technologies, and the information included in the traditional instruction manuals. The paper discusses about what can be effectively simulated with the available technology, and how the current technological limitations can be overcome by using the potentialities offered by a multimodal approach. Technology limitations can also be overcome by mixing two different strategies for coupling parts: the physics-based and the constraint-based approach. A case study provided by a company working in the field of household appliances has been used to prove the concept, to develop, test and finally refine the multimodal environment. The paper describes the development of the multimodal environment and presents the results of the user tests.

This paper proposes the and justify how we can enhance the quality of medical education through immersive learning and AI (Artificial Intelligence) use in education. A Multimodal Approach for Immersive Teaching and learning through Animation, AR (Augmented Reality) & VR (Virtual Reality) is aimed at providing specifically medical students with knowledge, skills, and understanding. It is important to understand the current challenge involved in medical education. This paper reports the findings of a novel study on the technology enable teaching with Animation, AR and VR by and MR impact. A case study was conducted involving 521 participants from different states of India. The data was analyzed by their feedback after using this Virtual reality-based teaching procedure in classroom. Recommendations from this paper that are expected to effectively improving the quality of medical education in faster way.

Relevance. Training systems which are based on the principle of apprenticeship and involve the company as a central venue are gaining in significance in international terms. The fundamental recognition here is, “Apprenticeships as one successful form of work-based learning ease the transition from education and training to work, and evidence suggests that countries with a strong VET and apprenticeship system have lower levels of youth unemployment” (Euro-pean Commission, year of publication not stated).Aim: the purpose of the article is to prove that the competitiveness of companies on the market crucially depends on their skilled workers.Methods: іn methodological terms, we based our study on an industrial sociology case study approach.Results: іn our study we showed that the stakeholders at the companies forming the object of our investigations are working towards quality. If the high quality requirements of training are also to be realised at a company level, crucial significance needs to be attached to the central players within the company. In our case, these are the works councils.Conclusions: іn our study, we have shown that “good training” can be equated with the terms of “vocational proficiency” and “matching”. This combination, which aims both to impart employability skills and to facilitate inte-gration into the company, provides the bedrock which enables skilled workers to act autonomously and independently. Works councils bring their influence to bear if they believe that these principles are in jeopardy. This makes an essential contribution to integrating apprentices into a company in respect of skills and socialisation.

Abstract—The need for information system development in a company is a basic requirement that must be met by each company in order to run its business processes properly. Application development or requirements in the application also provide speed for employees to carry out their activities to work properly and optimally. The development of the era requires that companies must be productive and have innovations so that the business wheel of the company can run well.
