The genome of a multidrug-resistant (MDR) Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar I 4,[5],12:i:− isolate from the 2015 U.S. pork outbreak was sequenced. The complete nucleotide sequence of USDA15WA-1 is 5,031,277 bp, including Salmonella genomic island 4 encoding tolerance to multiple metals and an MDR module inserted in the fljB region.

ABSTRACTPseudomonas stutzeriAN10 (CCUG 29243) can be considered a model strain for aerobic naphthalene degradation. We report the complete genome sequence of this bacterium. Its 4.71-Mb chromosome provides insights into other biodegradative capabilities of strain AN10 (i.e., benzoate catabolism) and suggests a high number of horizontal gene transfer events.

Here, we report the first complete genome sequence of the potential deoxynivalenol-degrading strain Youhaiella tibetensis F4T (China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center [CGMCC] 1.12719T). To the best of our knowledge, this is also the first announcement of the complete genome sequence of a Youhaiella species.

Alcaligenes aquatilis strain QD168 (= CCUG 69566) is a marine hydrocarbon-degrading bacterium isolated from crude oil-polluted sediment from Quintero Bay, Central Chile. Here, we present the 4.32-Mb complete genome sequence of strain QD168, with 3,892 coding sequences, 58 tRNAs, and a 56.3% G+C content.

ABSTRACTCycloclasticussp. strain P1 was isolated from deep-sea sediments of the Pacific Ocean and characterized as a unique bacterium in the degradation of pyrene, a four-ring polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH). Here we report the complete genome of P1 and genes associated with PAH degradation.

Algoriphagus sp. strain M8-2 was isolated from a brackish lake, Lake Sanaru, in Hamamatsu, Japan, as a filterable bacterium through a 0.22-µm-pore-size membrane filter. We report here the complete nucleotide sequence of the M8-2 genome (a 3,882,610-bp chromosome).
