We study CP violation in fermion pair decays of Higgs boson. We identify some CP odd observables related to the tree level decay amplitude. We find that a few thousands Higgs boson decay events can already provide important information about CP violation. If the Higgs boson is produced, such an analysis could be carried out at the SSC, LHC and NLC.

Within the framework of the Standard Model, the radiative decay channel of the Higgs boson into fermion-antifermion pair is investigated: H Þ` ff γ. Taking into account the fermion and W -boson loop diagrams an analytical expression for the decay width is obtained, the circular polarization of the γ-quanta is studied in dependence of the angle θ and invariant mass of the fermion pair.

We briefly review the status of motivated beyond-the-MSSM phenomenology in the light of the LHC searches to date. In particular, we discuss the conceptual consequences of the exclusion bounds, of the hint for a Higgs boson at about 125 GeV, and of interpreting the excess of direct CP violation in the charm sector as a signal of New Physics. We try to go into the various topics in a compact way while providing a relatively rich list of references, with particular attention to the most recent developments.

We emphasize that the electroweak interactions without a Higgs boson are very similar to quantum general relativity. The Higgs field could just be a dressing field and might not exist as a propagating particle. In that interpretation, the electroweak interactions without a Higgs boson could be renormalizable at the nonperturbative level because of a nontrivial fixed point. Tree-level unitarity in electroweak bosons scattering is restored by the running of the weak scale.

We study the charged and the neutral current interactions of quarks in an SU (3)L × U (1)X electroweak model. Based on the assumption that u-type quarks coincide with their mass eigenstates, we obtain a new mixing angle θ′ and another CP violating phase δ′ in the extra heavy quark sector besides the usual Kobayashi–Maskawa mixing matrix. This new phase δ′ does not effect a change in the mass matrix elements of the [Formula: see text] systems when θ′ is small, but extra heavy quarks and gauge bosons give rise to additional contribution to the real part of the off-diagonal mass matrix elements and then the CP violation parameter ε is modified. By requiring that the tree level FCNC does not have an important effect on the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] mixings in this model, we obtain a new lower bound on the mass of the extra heavy neutral gauge boson as 1.8 TeV.

Production of charged Higgs boson associated with a W gauge boson at the LHC is mainly induced by the tree-level [Formula: see text] annihilation and the one-loop gg fusion. In the context of the Higgs triplet model (HTM) and the left–right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we calculate the production cross-section σ of the process pp→H±W∓ and compare our results with those given by supersymmetry (SUSY). We find that, in most of the parameter space of the HTM, the production cross-section σ is smaller than that predicted by the LRTH model or SUSY. The value of σ within the LRTH model is larger or smaller than the SUSY case, which depends on the relevant free parameters.
