I discuss exclusive production of the χc(0+) and f0(1500) mesons in pp and [Formula: see text] collisions at high and intermediate energies. QCD diffractive mechanisms as well as some non-diffractive mechanisms are included. Different unintegrated gluon distribution functions (UGDF) are used. Some differential distributions are shown and discussed.

I discuss double-diffractive (double-elastic) production of the η′ and ηc mesons in the pp → pXp reaction within the formalism of unintegrated gluon distribution functions (UGDF). The contribution of γ*γ* → η′ fusion is estimated. The distributions in the Feynman xF (or rapidity), transferred four-momenta squared between initial and final protons (t1, t2) and azimuthal angle difference between outgoing protons (Φ) are calculated and discussed. The results are compared with the WA102 data. Predictions at higher energies are presented.

We study the inclusive hadroproduction of B0, B+ and [Formula: see text] mesons at leading order in the Parton Reggeization Approach using the universal fragmentation functions extracted from the combined e+e- annihilation data from CERN LEP1 and SLAC SLC colliders. We have described B-meson transverse momentum distributions measured in the central region of rapidity by the CDF Collaboration at Fermilab Tevatron and CMS Collaboration at LHC within uncertainties and without free parameters, applying Kimber–Martin–Ryskin unintegrated gluon distribution function in a proton. The forward B-meson production (2.0<y<4.5) measured by the LHCb Collaboration also has been studied and expected disagreement between our theoretical predictions and data has been obtained.

AbstractWe study cross sections for the exclusive diffractive leptoproduction of $$\rho $$ ρ -mesons, $$\gamma ^*~p~\rightarrow ~\rho ~p$$ γ ∗ p → ρ p , within the framework of high-energy factorization. Cross sections for longitudinally and transversally polarized mesons are shown. We employ a wide variety of unintegrated gluon distributions available in the literature and compare to HERA data. The resulting cross sections strongly depend on the choice of unintegrated gluon distribution. We also present predictions for the proton target in the kinematics of the Brookhaven EIC.

The production of pseudo scalar, η, η′, and vector, ω, ρ, ϕ, mesons in NN collisions at threshold-near energies is analyzed within a covariant effective meson-nucleon theory. It is shown that a good description of cross sections and angular distributions, for vector meson production, can be accomplished by considering meson and nucleon currents only, while for pseudo scalar production an inclusion of nucleon resonances is needed. The di-electron production from subsequent Dalitz decay of the produced mesons, η′ → γγ* → γe+e- and ω → πγ* → πe+e- is also considered and numerical results are presented for intermediate energies and kinematics of possible experiments with HADES, CLAS and KEK-PS. We argue that the transition form factor ω → γ*π as well as η′ → γ*γ can be defined in a fairly model independent way and the feasibility of an experimental access to transition form factors is discussed.

We discuss and compare different approaches to include gluon transverse momenta for heavy quark-antiquark pair and meson production. The results are illustrated with the help of different unintegrated gluon distributions (UGDF) from the literature. We compare results obtained with on-shell and off-shell matrix elements and kinematics. The results are compared with recent experimental results of the CDF collaboration.
