Using the nonstandard model vertex for WWV coupling, the helicity amplitudes, differential cross-sections and total cross-sections for the process e+e−→W+W− as functions of κV and λV have been calculated, and compared with SM predictions. A similar calculation has also been done for the process eγ→Wνe.

The angular distribution of Ar + Ar scattering at E = 9.16 × 10−14 erg was measured out to the rainbow pattern (supernumerary rainbow and part of the rainbow peak) by the crossed molecular beam technique, with mass spectrometric detection. This distribution was compared to calculated differential cross sections. Total cross sections, and spectroscopic constants for Ar2 were also calculated. The trial potentials were L.J.-12,6, LJ.-20,6, a modified Lennard–Jones potential (L.J.-14,12,8,6) and the Bobetic–Barker potential. The Bobetic–Barker potential is the one most consistent with cross section and spectroscopic experiments.

Abstract Measurements of the differential cross sections of Z + jets and γ + jets production, and their ratio, are presented as a function of the boson transverse momentum. Measurements are also presented of the angular distribution between the Z boson and the closest jet. The analysis is based on pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb−1 recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The results, corrected for detector effects, are compared with various theoretical predictions. In general, the predictions at higher orders in perturbation theory show better agreement with the measurements. This work provides the first measurement of the ratio of the differential cross sections of Z + jets and γ + jets production at 13 TeV, as well as the first direct measurement of Z bosons emitted collinearly with a jet.
