Optical properties of trirutile structure MgTa2O6 single crystals grown by optical floating zone method

The absorbance spectra of the [Formula: see text] crystals are presented and the optical bandgap structures of [Formula: see text] are discussed. Both room temperature and temperature-dependent photoluminescence (PL) of [Formula: see text] single crystals are investigated. Significantly, there are two processes in the emission, and the optical phonon participated procedures are observed and described.
