We have proven an existence theorem concerning the existence of solutions for a functional evolution inclusion governed by sweeping process with closed convex sets depending on time and state and with a noncompact nonconvex perturbation in Banach spaces. This work extends some recent existence theorems concerning sweeping processes from Hilbert spaces setting to Banach spaces setting. Moreover, it improves some recent existence results for sweeping processes in Banach spaces.

In the Banach space setting, the existence of viable solutions for differential inclusions with nonlinear growth; that is,ẋ(t)∈F(t,x(t))a.e. onI,x(t)∈S,∀t∈I,x(0)=x0∈S, (*), whereSis a closed subset in a Banach space𝕏,I=[0,T],(T>0),F:I×S→𝕏, is an upper semicontinuous set-valued mapping with convex values satisfyingF(t,x)⊂c(t)x+xp𝒦,∀(t,x)∈I×S, wherep∈ℝ, withp≠1, andc∈C([0,T],ℝ+). The existence of solutions for nonconvex sweeping processes with perturbations with nonlinear growth is also proved in separable Hilbert spaces.

AbstractIn this paper we prove the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for impulsive fractional integro-differential evolution equations with infinite delay in Banach spaces. We generalize the existence theorem for integer order differential equations to the fractional order case. The results obtained here improve and generalize many known results.

In this paper we investigate the existence of solutions on a compact interval to second order initial value problems for functional differential and integrodifferential inclusions in Banach spaces. We shall make use of a fixed point theorem for condensing maps due to Martelli.

In this paper we study the solvability of the generalized vector equilibrium problem (for short, GVEP) with a variable ordering relation in reflexive Banach spaces. The existence results of strong solutions of GVEPs for monotone multifunctions are established with the use of the KKM-Fan theorem. We also investigate the GVEPs without monotonicity assumptions and obtain the corresponding results of weak solutions by applying the Brouwer fixed point theorem. These results are also the extension and improvement of some recent results in the literature.

AbstractIn this paper we prove an existence theorem for ordinary differential equations in Banach spaces. The main assumptions in our results, formulated in terms of the Kuratowski measure of noncompactness, are motivated by the paper [CONSTANTIN, A.: On Nagumo’s theorem, Proc. Japan Acad. Ser. A Math. Sci. 86 (2010), 41-44].

The paper deals with the study of existence of solutions for quasilinear neutral mixed Volterra-Fredholm-type integrodifferential equations with nonlocal and impulsive conditions in Banach spaces. The results are obtained by using a fixed point technique and semigroup theory

We introduce strong vector mixed quasi-complementarity problems and the corresponding strong vector mixed quasi-variational inequality problems. We establish equivalence between strong mixed quasi-complementarity problems and strong mixed quasi-variational inequality problem in Banach spaces. Further, using KKM-Fan lemma, we prove the existence of solutions of these problems, under pseudomonotonicity assumption. The results presented in this paper are extensions and improvements of some earlier and recent results in the literature.

We prove two results concerning the existence of solutions for functional differential inclusions that are governed by sweeping processes, with noncompact valued perturbations in Banach spaces. Indeed, we have two goals. The first is to give a technique that allows considering sweeping processes with noncompact valued perturbations and associated with a multivalued function depending on time. The second is to give a technique to overcome the arising problem from the nonlinearity of the normalized mappings, when we deal with sweeping processes with noncompact valued perturbations and associated with a multivalued function depending on time and state.
