This paper mainly studies the state feedback stabilizability of a class of nonlinear stochastic systems with state- and control-dependent noise. Some sufficient conditions on local and global state feedback stabilizations are given in linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and generalized algebraic Riccati equations (GAREs). Some obtained results improve the previous work.

This paper considers the issue of robust H∞ control for a class of nonlinear uncertain systems with delayed states and control, and the feedback controller is designed. By constructing proper Lyapunov-krasovskii function, the resulting closed-loop system is stochastically stable for all admissible uncertainties, time-delays and nonlinearities, and satisfies a prescribed H∞ performance. Sufficient conditions for the system to be robustly stochastically asymptotically stable are derived, by using linear matrix inequalities and Lyapunov-krasovskii stability theory. The feedback controller is obtained by solving the linear matrix inequalities. Numerical example is provided to show the validity of the proposed approaches.

This paper will study the exponential stable and state feedback stabilization of time delay singular systems with saturation actuators. Some sufficient conditions for existence of controller are obtained by using the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and integral inequality approach (IIA). When these LMIs are feasible, an explicit expression of controller is obtained. Based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) techniques, a novel exponential stabilization criterion has been also derived in terms of LMIs which can be easily solved with efficient convex optimization algorithm. Our results are less conservative than some existing ones, and the decision variables involved in this paper are less than them. Examples illustrate our results as less conservative than those reported in the literature.

In this paper, the state-feedback mixed H2/H∞ control problem for state-delayed linear systems is considered. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem are given in terms of the solution to a pair of algebraic Riccati equations similar to the nondelayed case. However, these Riccati equations are more difficult to solve than those arising in the pure H2,H∞ problems, and an alternative approach is to solve a pair of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

H∞control problem for nonlinear system with time-varying delay is considered by using a set of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals including some integral terms, and a matrix-based on quadratic convex, combined with Wirtinger's inequalities and some useful integral inequality.H∞controller is designed via memoryless state feedback control and new sufficient conditions for the existence of theH∞state feedback for the system are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained result.

The dissipativity analysis and control problems for a class of nonlinear stochastic impulsive systems (NSISs) are studied. The systems are subject to the nonlinear disturbance, stochastic disturbance, and impulsive effects, which often exist in a wide variety of industrial processes and the sources of instability. Our aim is to analyse the dissipativity and to design the state-feedback controller and impulsive controller based on the dissipativity such that the nonlinear stochastic impulsive systems are stochastic stable and strictly(Q,S,R)-dissipative. The sufficient conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI), and a numerical example with simulation is given to show the correctness of the derived results and the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper is concerned with observer-based feedback stabilization of networked control systems (NCSs) with random packet dropouts. Both sensor-to-controller (S/C) and controller-to-actuator (C/A) packet dropouts are considered, and their behavior is assumed to obey the Bernoulli random binary distribution. The hold-input strategy is adopted, in which the previous packet is used if the packet is lost. An observer-based feedback controller is designed, and sufficient conditions for stochastic stability are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the results.

This paper studies robust stability, stabilization, andH∞control for a class of nonlinear discrete time stochastic systems. Firstly, the easily testing criteria for stochastic stability and stochastic stabilizability are obtained via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then a robustH∞state feedback controller is designed such that the concerned system not only is internally stochastically stabilizable but also satisfies robustH∞performance. Moreover, the previous results of the nonlinearly perturbed discrete stochastic system are generalized to the system with state, control, and external disturbance dependent noise simultaneously. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Stabilization of a class of systems with time delay is studied using adaptive control. With the help of the “error to error” technique and the separated “descriptor form” technique, the memory state-feedback controller is designed. The adaptive controller designed can guarantee asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system via a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Some sufficient conditions are derived for the stabilization together with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) design approach. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control design methodology is demonstrated in numerical simulations.

This paper studies the problem of exponentially dissipative control for singular impulsive dynamical systems. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for exponential dissipativity of such systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A state feedback controller is designed to make the closed-loop system exponentially dissipative. A numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the method.

Considering some unmeasurable states, a fuzzy static output control problem of nonlinear stochastic systems is discussed in this paper. Based on a modelling approach, a Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy system, constructed by a family of stochastic differential equations and membership functions, is applied to represent nonlinear stochastic systems. Parallel distributed compensation (PDC) technology is used to construct the static output controller. A line-integral Lyapunov function (LILF) is used to derive some sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the asymptotical stability in the mean square. From the LILF, a potential conservatism produced by the derivative of the membership function is eliminated to increase the relaxation of sufficient conditions. Furthermore, those conditions are transferred into linear matrix inequality (LMI) form via projection lemma. According to the convex optimization algorithm, the feasible solutions are directly obtained to establish the static output fuzzy controller. Finally, a numerical example is applied to demonstrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed design method.
