Abstract A New Species of Dolichopus (Diptera, Dolichopodidae) from Japan. Negrobov, O. P., Fursov, V. N., Selivanova, O. V. - Dolichopus satoi Negrobov, Fursov et Selivanova, sp. n. is described from Japan and compared with a closely related species, D. mediovenus Negrobov, 1977 which is recorded from Japan for the first time. The pictures of morphological features of both species are given.

A new species of palaemonid shrimp, Palaemon khori sp. nov. is described from Qatar. The new species is closely related to Palaemon debilis Dana, but can be distinguished from that species by its rostral shape, the near quadrate fifth pleuron, a wider and less elongate telson, longer mesial telson spines, as well as details of the male first and second pleopods. A number of other morphological features are recorded here for the first time in a species of Palaemon, notably the marginal setation of the distal half of the telson.

Including the results reported in this paper, there are 41 species of Oxypetalum (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) that occur in Argentina, eight of them endemic: O. arenicola, O. fontellae, O. gracile, O. lynchianum, O. longipedunculatum, O. pubescens, O. tucumanense and O. teyucuarense. The last is a new species from the Paraje Teyú Cuaré, San Ignacio, Misiones Province, Argentina, which is described and illustrated here. It shares some morphological features with O. jorgensenii, but, overall, it does not closely resemble any other species of the genus morphologically in its unique assemblage of characteristics. In addition to this new species, we here report two additional species for the first time in Argentina.

The following species of the isopod genus Serolis are recorded from the continental shelf of southern Brazil: S. exigua Nordenstam, 1933, S. polaris Richardson, 1911, S. foresti Bastida & Torti, 1970 and S. inermis sp. n. S. exigua is for the first time recorded from off Brazil. Both S. polaris and S. foresti are recorded from new localities. S. inermis sp. n., a new species, is detailed described. Remarks are made on the importance and variations of some morphological features. The limit of distribution of both S. exigua and S. foresti is slightly extended northernwards.

Abstract A new species of micromorphic articulate brachiopod (Rhynchonellida) Lambdarina jugowiensis sp. nov., from the upper Visean (Sokolec Beds) of central Sudetes, SW Poland, is described. The studied specimens are calcified, what makes them unique in respect of their state of preservation. The material is represented by a full range of growth stages; from brephic to gerontic. Based on its morphological features and the palaeogeographical distribution of all its known species, two main evolutionary lines are proposed for the genus; the Australian and the European ones. Lambdarina was widely distributed in the equatorial-tropical waters of marginal seas of the Palaeotethys Ocean, mostly during Mississippian time.

Leptochelia Vatulelensis(Crustacea: Tanaidacea), A New Species From Anchialine Caves of the South-Western PacificLeptochelia vatulelensisn. sp., discovered on the small islands of Vatulele (Fijian group) and Ouvéa (Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia), is described and illustrated. The new species is distinguished from the others of the"Leptochelia-dubiagroup" (to which it is generally similar) by the following combination of morphological characteristics: (1) the presence of three to four distal setae on the maxilliped basis; (2) merus of pereopods III and IV with only a distosternal seta; (3) endopod of the uropods formed of four (rarely three) articles; (4) males with two (sometimes three) relatively short aesthetascs on the first five articles of the antennular flagellum; (5) male cheliped with a diminished dimorphism; (6) males with a vertical comb-row of setae on the cheliped propodus. Although it inhabits inland, anchialine caves, the new species lacks morphological features that are characteristic of some cave species.

The oribatid mite subgenus Scheloribates (Topobates) Grandjean, 1958, is recorded from the Neotropical region for the first time. A new species of this subgenus is described from the leaf litter collected in Cayo Agua Island, Panama. Scheloribates (Topobates) panamaensis sp. nov. differs from its related species by the very large body size and presence of a strong ventrodistal process on the leg femora II–IV.

The Palaearctic species of the genus Trichardis Hermann, 1906 are reviewed. A new species, T. lehri sp. nov., is described. A new synonymy is established: T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) = T. afanasievae Lehr, 1964, syn. nov. The male of T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 is described for the first time. External features and the male genitalia of T. lehri sp. nov., T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) and T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 are illustrated with photographs.
