Two new species of Disholcaspis Dalla Torre & Kieffer 1910, Disholcaspis bettyannae and D. bisethiae (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae: Cynipini) are described from Panama. The two new species induce galls on Quercus bumelioides Liebm. and Q. lancifolia Schledl & Cham. (Fagaceae, sect. Quercus, White Oaks). Diagnostic characters, gall descriptions, distribution, biological data, as well as inquiline and parasitoid associated community data of the new species are given. The new species represent the first records of the genus Disholcaspis from the Neotropical region.

A new genus, Prokius Nieves Aldrey, Medianero & Nicholls, gen. nov., and two new species of oak gall wasps (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae: Cynipini), Prokius cambrai Medianero & Nieves-Aldrey sp. nov. and Prokius lisethiae Medianero & Nieves-Aldrey sp. nov., are described from adults reared from galls on Quercus bumelioides Liebm (Fagaceae, sect. Quercus, white oaks) collected in Panama. The new genus is phylogenetically and morphologically close to Dros Kinsey and forms part of a large clade that includes species from several other genera that appear to require revision, including Andricus Hartig and Phylloteras Ashmead. Molecular and morphological data, diagnostic characters, gall descriptions, distribution and biological data of the new genus and the new species are given. This new genus represents the fourth recently described genus of Cynipidae endemic to the Neotropical region.

Three New Species

Three new species of Amphibolips Reinhard 1865, Amphibolips castroviejoi, A. aliciae, and A. salicifoliae (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae: Cynipini) are described from Panama. The three new species induce galls on Quercus salicifolia Née (Fagaceae, sect. Lobatae, Red Oaks). Diagnostic characters, gall descriptions, distribution, and biological data are given. The generic limits of Amphibolips are re-established with adding new generic morphological characters. The presence of the genus Amphibolips in the Neotropical region is discussed. The new species represent the first record of this genus from Central America.

Two new species of Loxaulus Mayr, Loxaulus championi and Loxaulus panamensis (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae: Cynipini) are described from Panama. Both new species induce galls on Quercus bumelioides Liebm. Based on specimens collected from eulittoral zone in rocky shores of northeast of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on 2017, two new tanaidaceans species from two different suborders are described: Apseudomorpha brasiliensissp. nov. (Apseudomorpha, Metapseudidae) and Pseudozeuxo fischerisp. nov. (Tanaidomorpha, Pseudozeuxidae). Diagnostic characters of Apseudomorpha brasiliensis are mandible palp article-2 and article-3 with six and nine finely penicillate setae on inner margin, respectively; pereopod-1 carpus and propodus with two and four ventral spines, respectively; pleonites 2 and 5 with pleura having long distal seta; uropod exopod shorter than endopod articles 1–2 combined, endopod four-articled. Pseudozeuxo fischeri is characterized by pereopods 1–3 coxa with long seta about half as long as basis; pereopods 2–3 carpus with ventrodistal seta; propodus with two ventral setae; pereopods 4–6 propodus with two ventral spines and one seta; uropod endopod two- and exopod one-articled. This is the first record of the family Pseudozeuxidae and the metapseudid subfamily Metapseudinae from the Southwestern Atlantic (Brazil). Remarks on their associations with macroalgae and identification keys to world species of Apseudomorpha and Pseudozeuxo are provided.

Collections made during the REVIZEE program along the continental shelf, oceanic banks of the Archipelago of Fernando de Noronha and the North Chain Banks of Brazil, revealed a number of tanaidaceans species belonging to the genus Apseudes (Apseudidae). Two new species, Apseudes noronhensis and A. aisoe, are described here as is the first record of the genus Apseudes in Brazilian waters. Several diagnostic characters attributed to Muramurina were found during this study to be inconsistent and Muramurina is here suggested as being a junior synonym of Apseudes.

The study of the Poduromorpha fauna of a sample from Paraná State, Brazil, and multiple samples from high altitude mountains of Southeast Brazil provided important data on Hypogastruridae, including a new record for Brazil ofCeratophysella engadinensis(Gisin 1949) and two new species belonging toXenyllaTullberg 1869,X. manuelaesp.n. andX. wandaesp.n. These last present a pair of remarkable creased cuticular structures on abdominal tergite IV, apparently unique among the genus. In addition, a new species of Pseudachorutinae,Cephalachorutes anneaesp.n., is the first Neotropical record ofCephalachorutesBedos & Deharveng 1991, corroborating its holotropical distribution. The set of characteristics displayed by this new species required the expansion of the genus diagnosis.

Two New Species

Jumping spiders of the genus Kalcerrytus inhabit the moist tropical forests of the Neotropical region. This genus includes 18 species, only both sexes are known for half of these and of K. leucodon only the female is known; the vast majority of species are registered for Brazil and there are records from Bolivia, Ecuador and French Guiana. Males are characterized by having a robust palp and more sclerotized than in other genera of the Freyina subtribe; females are distinguished by their broad epigynum with large funnel-shaped copulation openings and oblique edges. Two new species are herein described, and they represent the first record of the genus in Peru. Kalcerrytus mapinguari sp. nov. and Kalcerrytus yacuruna sp. nov. were collected in the Tambopata River region, which is characterized by its highly biodiverse tropical lowland evergreen forests. Illustrations of both male and female genitalia are provided as well as maps recording their distribution.

Three subgenera of Chelonus Panzer (1806): Areselonus Braet (1999), Baculonus Braet & van Achterberg (2001) and Megachelonus Baker (1926) are recorded for the first time from China. The species of Chelonus (Areselonus) chailini Walker & Huddleson is reported for the first time, and new host information is provided. The subgenus of Baculonus Braet & van Achterberg, 2001 has been recorded only from the Neotropical region before this study. Chelonus (Baculonus) icteribasis sp. nov., represents the first record of this group from the Old World. Two new species of subgenus Megachelonus, i.e., C. (M.) macros sp. nov. and C. (M.) longqiensis sp. nov., are described from China. A key to the six currently known Megachelonus species is included to facilitate future identifications.
