Two New Species

The lophopid genus Zophiuma Fennah, 1955 is revised with two new species described, Z. gitauae sp. nov. and Z. torricelli sp. nov. and Z. doreyensis (Distant, 1906) is placed in synonymy with Z. pupillata (Stål, 1863). A key to the species for the genus, distribution map and the male genitalia illustrations are provided.

The new subgenus Maculergithus subgen. nov. is established to accommodate two new species of the genus Gergithus Stål, 1870 (Issinae, Hemisphaeriini): G. (Maculergithus) tamdao subgen. et sp. nov. and G. (Maculergithus) luteomaculatus subgen. et sp. nov. from Tam Dao National Park in North Vietnam. Two more species from Hainan, China, G. multipunctatus Che, Zhang & Wang, 2007 and G. nonomaculatus Meng & Wang, 2012 are also placed in Maculergithus subgen. nov. A fifth species from Hainan, yet undescribed and erroneously identified as G. multipunctatus in recent papers also belongs to this new subgenus. Illustrations of habitus, morphological details and male genitalia together with a distribution map and an identification key to the species of Maculergithus subgen. nov. are provided. Four species of the genus Gergithus are now recorded in Vietnam. A rectificative note on the misinterpretation of G. multipunctatus in recent publications on Issidae is also provided.

The article describes two new species Meyoarabiella naumanni Yakovlev, sp. nov. (Type locality: Namibia, Region Iikaras, Klein Ausvista, Umg. Aus Region, S 26º40′19′′ / E 16º14′53′′) and M. vansoni Yakovlev, sp. nov. (Type locality: Namibia, Region Hardap, Umg. Mariental Hardap Damm, S 24º28.869 / E 17º50.364). The article is illustrated with 6 images (photos of the adults, male genitalia of the new species and the map of the genus distribution).

Two new species of the genus Gergithoides Schumacher, 1915 (Issinae, Hemisphaeriini), G. gnezdilovi sp. nov. from Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park in Central Vietnam and G. nui sp. nov. from Pia-Oac National Park in North Vietnam, are described. These are the only species of the genus formally recorded from Vietnam to date. Habitus, details and male genitalia are illustrated and a distribution map is provided. Four females representing three or four additional species, known from females only, are mentioned and illustrated. Taxonomic and biogeographical updates based on a thorough review of the literature are proposed and discussed for G. carinatifrons Schumacher, 1915, G. rugulosus (Melichar, 1906) and G. undulatus Wang & Che, 2003.

Two New Species

Two new species in the genus Chibiraga, C. houshuaii sp. nov. and C. yukei sp. nov., are described based on specimens collected in Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province, respectively. Illustrations depicting male adults and male genitalia are provided, along with venation patterns and a distribution map of the genus Chibiraga. COI DNA fragments of C. yukei sp. nov. and both sexes of C. banghaasi (Hering & Hopp, 1927) are also depicted.

The genus Agrotera Schrank, 1802 is revised for Australia and the generic definition is refined based on the male genitalia. The genera Leucinodella Strand, 1918 stat. rev. with L. leucostola (Hampson, 1896) comb. nov., Nistra Walker, 1859 stat. rev. with N. coelatalis Walker, 1859 comb. rev., Sagariphora Meyrick, 1894 stat. rev. with S. magnificalis (Hampson, 1893) comb. nov., and Tetracona Meyrick, 1884 stat. rev. with T. amathealis (Walker, 1859) comb. rev. and T. pictalis Warren, 1896 comb. rev. are removed from synonymy with Agrotera, as they lack the synapomorphies of Agrotera. Two new species, Agrotera genuflexa sp. nov. from Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales, and A. longitabulata sp. nov. from Queensland, are described. The taxonomic status of the Australian species of Agrotera is discussed, and a key to all species, based on males, is provided. The adults and genitalia of the new species and some related species are figured.

Two new species of leafhoppers, Durgades sineprocessus sp. nov. (From Himachal Pradesh: Kalpa) and Japanagallia dolabra sp. nov. (From Sikkim: Lachung) from India, are described and illustrated. Photographic illustrations of Durgades aviana Viraktamath and a detailed note on intraspecific variation in male genitalia of Austroagallia sinuata (Mulsant & Rey) are also provided. Two new microleafhopper genera of Empoascini, Thaioasca Wang, Xu & Qin, gen. nov. and Mjolnirus Wang, Xu & Qin, gen. nov., based on the type species, Thaioasca contaminata Wang, Xu & Qin, sp. nov. and Mjolnirus mediolobus Wang, Xu & Qin, sp. nov. are described from Thailand. Two New Species

Two new species of Ocyochterus are described, O. graziae from Ecuador, and O. gilloglyi from Panama, and compared to the other two Andean species previously known in the genus. Dorsal habitus and anterior head photos are provided for all described species of Ocyochterus, and photomicrographs are provided for the male genitalic structures of O. graziae and O. gilloglyi. A distribution map is provided for all species in the genus.
