Research of smoothness on torque coordination of two-wheel independently driven hub electric vehicle based on fuzzy control

Aiming at the problems of drive torque coordination, steering vibration and asymmetry of two-wheel independent drive hub electric vehicle, a new torque coordination control algorithm of driving wheel is proposed based on fuzzy control theory. The algorithm takes yaw rate deviation and centroid side deviation as inputs of fuzzy controller, outputs additional yaw moment needed by vehicle, and distributes it to each driving wheel reasonably according to the requirements of each driving wheel. Under the coordination of the driving anti-skid control algorithm, the vibration of driving wheels was reduced and the vehicle can run smoothly. The algorithm is verified by Simulink-CarSim joint simulation, and a fast prototype experiment platform based on dSPACE is built. The results of experiment and simulation show that the control strategies are effective and feasible.

This paper focuses on the lane departure avoidance system for a four in-wheel motors’ drive electric vehicle, aiming at preventing lane departure under dangerous driving conditions. The control architecture for the lane departure avoidance system is hierarchical. In the upper controller, the desired yaw rate was calculated with the consideration of vehicle-lane deviation, vehicle dynamic, and the limitation of road adhesion. In the middle controller, a sliding mode controller (SMC) was designed to control the additional yaw moment. In the lower layer, the yaw moment was produced by the optimal distribution of driving/braking torque between four wheels. Lane departure avoidance was carried out by tracking desired yaw response. Simulations were performed to study the effectiveness of the control algorithm in Carsim®/Simulink® cosimulation. Simulation results show that the proposed methods can effectively confine the vehicle in lane and prevent lane departure accidents.

For electric power steering (EPS) system to the requirement of real-time and stability of the control system, a fuzzy control algorithm applied to the EPS was proposed, and composed a fuzzy controller for appling to the EPS controller. Taking into account both portability and stability of steering, testing the designed fuzzy controller on EPS experiment platform and adjusting fuzzy control parameters online to make the EPS steering feel the best. Experimental results showed that the proposed fuzzy control algorithm had good tracking performance, can meet the requirements of EPS fast and frequent start-stop and the portability and stability of steering.

This article describes the development of a dedicated controller for HVAC control, and introduces the hardware interface circuits about some main chip on controller. In addition, the article also explains composition and principle about control software applied to the controller, further more points out that the fuzzy control algorithm is more reasonable than the PID algorithm for most HVAC control and dedicated control strategies play an important role for HVAC control.

Taking embedded processor as the core control unit, the paper designs the fan monitoring system software and hardware to achieve the fan working condition detection and real-time control. For the control algorithm, the paper analyzes the fuzzy control system theory and composition, and then combined with tunnel ventilation particularity, introduce feed-forward model to predict the incremental acquisition of pollutants to reduce lag, combined with the system feedback value and the set value, by calculate of two independent computing fuzzy controller, and ultimately determine the number of units increase or decrease in the tunnel jet fans start and stop. Through simulation analysis, the introduction of a feed-forward signal, it can more effectively improve the capability of the system impact of interference.

This thesis puts forward one optimal adaptive fuzzy control method based on the pure electric vehicle energy management system of the fuzzy control which has been founded already. By adding an optimizing researching model based on the conventional fuzzy control strategy, the thesis can pick up the valuable control rules based on the dynamic programming theory and also can adjust the parameter of the fuzzy controller automatically according to the system operating. These can make the sum of the energy loss reduce to the min. The experiment points out that this method makes the vehicle possess good economic performance in the same driving cycle.

The changes of temperature in the rubber mixing process is of great significance. How to ensure the changes of temperature in rubber mixing is an important issue. The article introduces the temperature control system based on the fuzzy control algorithm. Using the host computer as the fuzzy controller, and the host computer educes the control value based on the difference between the reference input and the measure value. The system automatically discharges of high temperature water and automatically adds the appropriate amount of cooling water. The system can ensure the stability of the mixing temperature and ensure the quality of rubber mixing.

This Temperature control system of aircraft cabin is a complex system with nonlinear, time-varying, model inaccurate and work environment uncertain. According to the system control requirements, the fuzzy controller with the characteristic of fast response speed, good stability and strong resistance to interference is used in the study. The system error is adjusted constantly by using fuzzy control algorithm and simulation study is conducted in the software Matlab. The results are showed that control effect of control method used in this study is better than the traditional PID control method, and dynamic performance, steady state accuracy and robustness of system is effectively improved.

Several kinds of methods of energy management of hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) are analyzed. Based on the design requirement of a certain type of parallel HEV, the fuzzy control strategy of energy management is proposed. ADVISOR2002 is chosen as the simulation platform for secondary development, and the simulation results of the fuzzy control strategy and electric assist control strategy are compared. The simulation results indicate that the adaptive fuzzy controller can obviously improve the performance of HEV fuel economy and emissions.
