Objective: To explore the therapeutic effects of community health management and nursing strategies for elderly hypertensive patients. Methods: A total of 64 elderly hypertensive patients who were treated in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2021 were selected. The control group took conventional care and guidance. The research group carried out community health management and nursing strategy guidance on the basis of the control group. Then compare the blood pressure levels of the two groups of patients before and after nursing and the patients’ satisfaction with nursing. Results: Through comparison, it can be seen that the diastolic and systolic blood pressure levels of the study group and the control group are not significantly different before nursing. After nursing, the diastolic blood pressure of the patients in the study group was 81.22.1 mmHg and the systolic blood pressure was 126.58.7 mmHg. The diastolic blood pressure of the control group was 90.55.4 mmHg and the systolic blood pressure was 136.412.9 mmHg. There are obvious differences in the comparison of the two sets of data. By comparing the two groups of patients’ satisfactions with nursing care, it can be seen that among the 32 patients in the study group: 31 were very satisfied and basically satisfied, with a satisfaction rate of 96.87%. Among the 32 patients in the control group, 28 were very satisfied and basically satisfied, with a satisfaction rate of 87.5%. The data of the two groups of patients are clearly comparable. Conclusion: Through community health management and nursing strategies, the satisfaction and treatment effect of elderly hypertensive patients can be improved, thereby contributing to the recovery of patients.

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a very common and serious condition that can lead to or complicate many health problems.Solving this problem by nonpharmacologic, it is needed to bedeveloped, for example with consuming star fruit juice. Star fruit (AverrhoaCarambola) is rich in Vitamin C, and contains high levels of potassium and low in sodium which has the effect of lowering blood pressure. This study aimed to determine the effect of star fruit juice to the reduction of blood pressure in elderly hypertensive patients. The study used a pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design with 10 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that systolic blood pressure in statistical analysis showed that p=0.000 (p˂ 0.05) means that Hypotheses received or systolic blood pressure between before and after consumption star fruit juice significantly their influence. That the diastolic blood pressure in statistical analysis showed that p=0.001 (p˂0.05), which means that Hypotheses received or systolic blood pressure between before and after consumption star fruit juice significantly their influence. The result is expected to give any benefit for the society and become one of the solutions to treat the hypertension suffers.

The disease is often experienced by the elderly in Indonesian according to Department of Health Houshold Survey on Health is hypertension with the incidence by 15,7%. Based on data from Department Health Office in Sumedang district, The highest cases of non-communicable diseases is hypertension by 29,6%. This reseach as a purpose determine the effect of a healthy heart gymnastics on the value of blood pressure in elderly hypertensive patients in Community Health Center DTP Jatinangor 2015. This type of research that is quasi experiment with an approach one group pre and postest design. The reseach population by 24 respondents specified by purposive sampling techniques. The reseach results revealed an average value of systolic blood pressure for 3 weeks before a healthy heart gymnastics is 142,8 mmHg and diastolic 94,2 mmHg, while after being given for 3 weeks healthy heart gymnastics the average value of systolic blood pressure was 129.6 mmHg and 86.3 mmHg diastolic. Test results paired T-Test obtainable ρ value 0.000 <0.05 for systolic and diastolic blood pressure, means there is healthy heart gymnastics influence on the value of blood pressure in elderly hypertensive patients in Community Health Center DTP Jatinangor 2015.

Objective: To study the effectiveness of prophylactic ephedrine to prevent hypotension caused by induction of anesthesia with propofol and sufentanil in elderly hypertensive patients. Methodology: 70 elderly ASA grade II-III hypertensive patients undergoing elective general anesthesia were randomized into two groups to receive either intravenous ephedrine,100 ug/kg in 5ml normal saline (Group B), or an equal volume of normal saline (Group A) before induction. Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP), Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP) and Heart Rate (HR) were recorded at T0 (after entry to the operating room), T1 (1 min after induction), T2 (2 min after induction), T3 ( 3 min after induction), T4 (4 min after induction), T5 (when intubated), T6 (2 min after intubation), and T7 (at the start of the procedure), as well as the incidence of hypotension and bradycardia. Results: SBP, DBP and HR were not significantly different at T0 and were significantly different at T1 to T7 after anesthesia induction. There were statistically significant effect on hypotension and bradycardia between the two groups and group B have a lower risk of hypotension and bradycardia relative to group A. SBP and DBP decreased significantly after induction in both groups. HR decreased significantly in group A while increased in group B. Conclusion: Ephedrine pretreatment can minimize hypotension and bradycardia caused by propofol and sufentanil during the induction of general anesthesia in elderly patients with hypertension.
