A ground source heat pump system of combined office and residential buildings in hot summer and warm winter region is introduced. The system performance is studied through the experiment, and the performance of underground heat balance is analyzed by TRNSYS. The results show the superiority and applicability of the ground source heat pump system.

Building Energy Conservation, especially the research about residential building energy in face of the worldwide energy crisis is particularly urgent. At present, various countries have an in-depth study of the residential building energy to explore different methods, new building materials, and new technology(such as new thermal windows and doors), as well as the use of new energy has been put more attention to in energy conservation field. Comparing the residential buildings between domestic and overseas countries’ progress about related technologies, we could find some evolution and look to the prospects for the future in energy-saving field. We took a domestic project that used energy-saving technology as a practical example, and then made a simple overview of the current energy situation in China so as to get a glimpse of the development about residential building energy-saving. Finally, the article provided some comments about this topic in sustainable view.

The U-tube sizes and varied thermal conductivity with different grout materials are studied based on the benchmark residential building in Hot-humid Pensacola, Florida. In this study, the benchmark building is metered and the data is used to validate the simulation model. And a list of comparative simulation cases with varied parameter value are simulated to study the importance of pipe size and grout to the ground source heat pump energy consumption. The simulation software TRNSYS [1] is employed to fulfill this task. The results show the preliminary energy saving based on varied parameters. Future work needs to be conducted for the cost analysis, include the installation cost from contractor and materials cost.

With the speeding up of urbanization and growth of national economy, housing industry has developed rapidly in recent years, the residential building energy saving problem has been increasingly outstanding, according to the study, the future China building energy consumption ratio will rise to about 35%. At present, building energy conservation has become one of the recognized effective ways to solve the increasingly serious energy problems. Through the study of the near zero energy building in the hot summer and cold winter area, the thermal comfort of the near zero energy building was satisfied by using the semiconductor cold and hot wall system, the practical effect and operation parameters of the semiconductor cooling wall were given. It was presents a series of Suggestions and improvement Suggestions for the research and energy conservation work of near zero energy buildings in hot summer and cold winter area.
