Abstract Circuits for CMOS two-dimensional (2-D) array data transfer are indispensable for applications such as space and nuclear fields. Issues include to be operated with higher speed, lower power, fewer size penalty and radiation hardness. To meet these requirements, two kinds of CMOS 2-D array data transfer circuits, such as a shift register type and a memory access type, are proposed and fabricated by the standard 0.18-µm CMOS process technology. In the both types, 16 µm pitch, 8×124 array data transfer operations were realized with data rate of more than 1 Gb/s. Furthermore, we conducted 60Co γ-ray irradiation experiments on those circuits. The current consumption ratio of the shift register type to the memory access type ranges from 150 to 200% as the dosage increases. The result indicate that the memory access type has better radiation hardness at 1 Gb/s than that of the shift register type.

The Chinese economy had an extraordinary average GDP growth rate of 8.50 percent from 1980 to 2018. However, the implementation of one-child policy in the late 1970s has depressed the total fertility rate to below the replacement rate since 1992. China thus experienced an increasing composition of older populations in the past three decades, which puts pressure on Chinese economic growth and makes its eye-catching economic growth potentially unsustainable. This study develops an overlapping generations (OLG) model to investigate the impacts of this demographic transition in the Chinese economy. This study conducts six policy reform exercises to examine measures that could improve the sustainability of fiscal and pension systems. The simulation results indicate that a mild tax increase on either wage income or consumption does not improve the fiscal stance but creates distortionary effects on saving and consumption behaviors. Of the pension reform measures considered, the combination of extending the mandatory retirement age and cutting the replacement ratio offers the most significant improvement to pension sustainability. However, increasing the contribution rate of the working-age population has the least effect on pension sustainability and a noticeable distortionary effect on the consumption ratio and saving rate.

Previous analyses of the PV market (and the impact of the pandemic on it) have focused on the market as a whole. The literature does not contain analyses of selected services sectors (e.g., catering, hotel services) in terms of the use of photovoltaics. There are no studies that would show in which segments the demand profile for electricity most closely matches the production from photovoltaic installations (not to mention the impact of the pandemic). The authors analyzed selected service sectors (catering and hotel) in terms of the use of photovoltaics before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper proposes a comparative methodology for the use of photovoltaics for self-consumption, including statistical analyses and calculations of the self-consumption index for representatives of various selected services sectors. The highest value of the self-consumption ratio at the level of 52% was shown for cafes and restaurants (during the pandemic). Surprisingly, in the pandemic, the self-consumption rate increased for restaurants and cafes for the same size of installations (compared to pre-pandemic times).

The results of experimental researches on studying of features of formation of a water mode of soils, water consumption processes, and corn yield under different schemes of irrigation pipelines (IP) under subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) in the Steppe of Ukraine. The wetting zone of dark-chestnut residual-saline sandy soil (SI "SF "Brylivske") changed. There is a shift of the center relative to the drip water outlet into deeper horizons of the soil profile (up to 52 cm) with the increasing norm; soil layer 0-15 cm is almost not moistened, regardless of watering rate. At a distance of IP 1,0 m closing of wetting zones, occur at irrigation rates of 2,7 m3/100 running meter (r. m), and at a distance of IP 1,4 m does not occur even at irrigation rates of 3,7 m3/100 r. m, while the depth of wetting reaches 90 cm. The wetting zone of chernozem sandy loam on the loess species (SI "SF "Velyki Klyny") with irrigation rates of 2,7 m3/100 r. m was observed on the soil surface. The maximum depth of wetting, with irrigation norms of 3,7 m3/100 r. m, reached 70 cm with a maximum diameter of 79 cm at a depth of 25 cm. Closing of wetting zones was not observed. Studies at SI "SF "Brylivske" have confirmed that the depth of IP placement (on the soil surface or at a depth of 30 cm) influenced the formation of the soil water regime and the corn yield. The minimum total water consumption was 6271 m3/ha under drip irrigation (DI) (IP 1,4 m), 17 % more than SDI (IP 1,4 m), and 29% more than SDI (IP 1,0 m). The highest yield was obtained in the case of DI (IP 1,4 m) of 15,72 t/ha. SDI (IP 1,0 m) received 13,93 t/ha, and SDI (IP 1,4 m) received 13,50 t/ha. The distance between the IP in 1,0 m and 1.4 m of the SDI system did not significantly affect corn yield (13.93 and 13.50 t/ha, respectively), but at a distance of IP 1.4 m, the water consumption ratio was 6.8% less compared to IP 1,0 m. The value of the irrigation rate in the variants SDI (IP 1.0 m) was higher than SDI (IP 1,4 m) by 13,6 %. Therefore, in terms of irrigation water consumption and capital expenditures, the SDI (IP 1,4 m) is more economical. Experimental studies conducted in the SI "SF "Velyki Klyny" show that the depth of placement of IP (on the soil surface or at a depth of 20 cm) did not affect the corn yield. For DI (IP 1,0 m) the yield was 12,00 t/ha and for SDI (IP 1.0 m) was 12,10 t/ha, with a water consumption ratio of 533,8 m3/t, and for DI (IP 1,0 m) by 3,6 % more. The research results confirm the importance of the parameters of SDI system for the formation of soil water regime and, accordingly, the realization of the potential of varieties and hybrids of crops for their cultivation by SDI.

Abstract Cempaka or Magnolia spp. is categorised into primary local wood mostly used by the people in North Sulawesi. Efforts to cultivate cempaka and supply of raw materials continue to be carried out. However, there is no measurement of consumption of cempaka wood at the industrial and household levels. This will threaten the existence of cempaka or cempaka cultivation is not attractive to the Minahasa community. The objective of this study was to obtain the information of consumption ratio of cempaka wood in North Sulawesi in household scale. This study was carried out for approximately eight months in Minahasa, South Minahasa, and North Minahasa. There are 13 industries of cempaka wood in household scale, and 99 respondents are gathered successfully. The study findings indicated that cempaka wood products identified were not only wooden houses construction but also furniture. Average consumption of cempaka wood products in North Sulawesi reached 0.17 m3/capita/annual. If the total population of North Sulawesi reached 2,5 million, the total consumption of cempaka timber was estimated to reach 435,000 m3 annually. With enormous demands for cempaka wood in North Sulawesi compared to its inefficient availability, it is recommended to promote more intensive cempaka plantation development in the region.

The article presents a method of generating key performance indicators related to electric motor energy efficiency on the basis of Big Data gathered and processed in a frequency converter. The authors proved that using the proposed solution, it is possible to specify the relation between the control mode of an electric drive and the control quality-energy consumption ratio in the start-up phase as well as in the steady operation with various mechanical loads. The tests were carried out on a stand equipped with two electric motors (one driving, the other used to apply the load by adjusting the parameters of the built-in brake). The measurements were made in two load cases, for motor control modes available in industrially applied frequency converters (scalar V/f, vector Voltage flux control without encoder, vector voltage flux control with encoder, vector current flux control, and vector current flux control with torque control). During the experiments, values of the current intensities (active and output), the actual frequency value, IxT utilization factor, relative torque, and the current rotational speed were measured and processed. Based on the data, the level of energy efficiency was determined for various control modes.

Introduction. The problem of combining continuous monitoring of the main informative process parameters (mass, temperature, melt consumption) and control of the pouring process is relevant for almost all filling devices today.Problem Statement. The development of pouring accuracy methods, particularly for small-dose pouring is an important task for the foundry industry.Purpose. The purpose is to study the dependences of the flow characteristics of the magnetodynamic equipment on the supplied voltage in various conditions of its operation.Materials and Methods. Physical modelling has been applied for the study of dosing accuracy for small doses in the range of 1.5—3 kg.Results. The coefficient of the numerical dependence of instantaneous mass flow consumption of a modeling fluid in the trough on the instantaneous mass of a modeling fluid in the trough has been established based on experimental studies with the use of a physical model of magnetodynamic device (MDD). The studies of filling doses within the range from 1.5 to 3 kg have shown that this coefficient corresponds to the range of the electromagnet supply voltage from 12.3 to 16.3 V. There have been determined the efficient range of the poured-metalmass to instantaneous-mass-flow-consumption ratio in the course of casting (2.20—2.25) and the corresponding range of the MDD electromagnet supply voltage to minimize the effect of jet pulsations on the dosing accuracy byreducing their amplitude. The dosing error does not exceed 1.5% by dose weight in the case of pouring small portions (1.5—3 kg).Conclusions. A new technical solution for MDD with an inclined weighting trough of a conventional design has been developed based on the electromagnetic transfer of a force proportional to the instantaneous melt massin the trough. The implementation of this solution makes it possible to reduce the number of strain gauge power sensors for the instantaneous measurement of the melt mass, from four sensors installed under the melting pot of the MDD prototype to one placed directly under the trough.

Abstract Data security needs a comprehensive system design approach that combines legal, administrative, and technical protection. These laws generally contain complete rules and principles relevant to the collecting, storing, and using personal information in line with international standards on privacy and data protection. Personal data should be legally collected for a specified reason and not be used without authorization for unlawful monitoring or profiling by governments or third parties. In advocacy and open data activity, increasing attention has been placed on privacy problems. To secure the protection of this data, the Privacy Law (PL) and the Regulations typically put forth industrial and technical standards on IT systems that hold and handle personal data. Concerns about information privacy are genuine, valid, and exacerbated on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). This article suggests that compliance with IoT and CPS Data Privacy (DP) at technical and non-technical levels should be dealt with. The proposed architecture is then coupled with a reference framework for the business architecture to offer a DP-IoT model focused on the industry and technology and positioned to comply with the Personal Information Protection Act (POPI). Therefore, methods are necessary to protect data privacy based on both system and organizational reference designs. In the end, users should have specific rights to information about them, including the capacity and method to seek recourse to protect such rights, to acquire and amend incorrect details. The DP-IoT model shows a privacy ratio of 92.6%, scalability ratio of 91.5, data management ratio of 94.3%, data protection ratio of 96.7%, customer satisfaction rate of 92.2 %, attack prevention ratio of 95.5% and energy consumption ratio of 25.5 % compared to the existing methods.
