Abstract In this paper, the least square support vector machine (LSSVM) is used to study the safety of a high-speed railway. According to the principle of LSSVM regression prediction, the parameters of the LSSVM are optimized to model the natural disaster early warning of safe operation of a high-speed railway, and the management measures and methods of high-speed railway safety operation under natural disasters are given. The relevant statistical data of China's high-speed railway are used for training and verification. The experimental results show that the LSSVM can well reflect the nonlinear relationship between the accident rate and the influencing factors, with high simulation accuracy and strong generalization ability, and can effectively predict the natural disasters in the safe operation of a high-speed railway. Moreover, the early warning system can improve the ability of safety operation evaluation and early warning of high-speed railway under natural disasters, realize the development goals of high-speed railway (safety, speed, economic, low-carbon and environmental protection) and provide a theoretical basis and technical support for improving the safety of a high-speed railway.

Subgrade connecting has become an important research project in high-speed railway construction engineering. Combining the hub project of Hefei railway, numerical calculation was executed with different subgrade heights to existing line’s safety operation and subgrade stability by FLAC software. It shows that deformations in the vertical direction of the connection between the new subgrade and the old and the old subgrade surface increase following the increment of subgrade height, and the velocity of deformation increment also aggrandize. Reduction of subgrade height is beneficial to trains safety on existing line and subgrade integration property. It will be instructive to control differentia deformation for the connecting subgrade projects in high-speed railway.

In response to targeted poverty alleviation, traffic + tourism and other national strategies, exploring the integration development direction of High-speed Railway and tourism in Sichuan Province, this article combed the railway tourism basic conditions of Sichuan Province, used mathematical statistics and kernel density estimation to study the spatial distribution of tourist resources and High-speed Railway. Based on urban nodes, the minimum travel time between nodes, the urban power, tourism resources and other elements, constructed travel accessibility time measurement model and attractive model, and used ArcGIS to compute the accessibility value of High-speed Railway and the coefficient of tourist attraction. Finally, for the regions with different tourism resource quality and the accessibility of High-speed Rail in Sichuan, based on the calculation results, the problem of rail tourism and the national policy, the High-speed Railway tourism plans and development strategies are proposed respectively.
