When designing a security protocol, it is important firstly to define its security goals. These goals are generally referred to as security services. It is also important to identify the mechanisms which can provide each security service. In this chapter, therefore, we first defined the security services of relevance to this chapter and after that the security mechanisms, which can be used to provide the security services are then examined. In next chapter gives the brief details about Attacks and Authentication for Mobile Banking.

Technology is entwined in almost every part of one's lives. Today's students are using more technology than ever before. Information technology has revolutionized every industry and especially the banking industry. Tremendous improvements in technology have taken place in the Indian banking sector. Among all, Mobile Banking (m-banking) is the recent phenomenon that changed country's banking system. Students, being considered as most technically knowledgeable make most use of mobile banking services among all the banking customers. Therefore, the focus is particularly towards the young students engaging in m-banking services and to evaluate the factors that influence them to adopt m-banking. The study considers extended Technology Adoption Model (TAM) to measure the impact of the factors on adoption of m-banking. For the study, data was collected through questionnaire from 217 students of Western Rajasthan. The result of this research would provide valuable information to service providers in order to improve their m-banking services.

Development of information technology (IT) is used to support business sector, including banking. One of them, banking uses IT to improve the quality of service in the form of internet banking and mobile banking. Therefor, the research focused on development of mobile banking system using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology as client authentication and security system. Features on mobile banking system are checking balance information, mutation, electricity bill, a fellow bank transfer and transfers between Bank that has been working with ATM Bersama, as well as payment of electricity bills. System development using JAVA programming language with Android Studio tools, to access server using PHP with MySQL as database management, IdWebHost as hosting services, as well as data output using JSON format. Data collection method is done with interview stage and literature study. Researcher uses system development methods of Rapid Application Development (RAD), while testing using unit testing and user acceptance testing. Result of the study is secure mobile banking system utilizing Near Field Communication technology, PIN, and AES encryption.

The aim of this paper is to develop a mobile banking system using design patters that provides customers with the facility to check their accounts and to do online transactions using mobile phones. There are various number of software design patterns that have been identified and used by software developers in various domains such as navigation systems, e-commerce, data mining, construction of operating systems, e-business, games and website designing and development purpose. In order to achieve our aim we are going to follow three steps. First step is the identification process, in this process we are going to study the various design patterns and the existing architecture of several mobile banking systems and will identify the design patterns based on the cross cutting concerns that occur in flow of the banking process. The second step is to implement the identified design patterns using the patterns skeleton code. We need to improve the reusability using object oriented programming. Finally we are going to implement the identified patterns and evaluate the patterns using already available methods such as SAAM, ATAM, ALAM (Architecture-Level Maintainability Analysis).

It is important that any new product or service is based on user needs and requirements rather than being driven by technology. This is an important issue to consider with SMS and mobile banking. Research related to the usability design issues surrounding online banking are relevant to SMS banking. Concepts related to authentication, online banking processes, and other relevant information security issues are discussed further. Literature relevant to these factors is also considered throughout this process of reflection. This chapter discussed the concepts related to authentication, online banking processes and other relevant information security issues are discussed further. Literature relevant to these factors is also considered throughout this process of reflection. In next chapter discusses about Web based electronic money for online banking.
