The article is devoted to a new type of electronic money – cryptocurrencies. The history of creation is studied and the analysis of existing formulations of cryptocurrencies in the conditions of digitalization of the economy is carried out. The prerequisites for the emergence of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were established and the advantages of their use were emphasized. Tight business competition, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic until the second semester in 2021, is still very much felt. Consumer incomes are starting to decline and the urgency of using technology is due to direct buying activities that are recommended to use electronic money more nowadays. The emergence of the e-commerce market has created vast market opportunities for retailers and logistics service providers, can increase purchase and sales satisfaction and can facilitate the ability of logistics service providers to manage greater. This is what makes us as researchers want to know how much influence e-commerce has on income, especially for MSMEs that have used e-commerce in the South Sumatra area. The population in this study is MSME users of e-commerce. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling type obtained as many as 397 samples. By using the multiple linear regression technique, the results obtained that the interface, navigation, content, and reliability variables have a significant effect on the income of MSMEs in South Sumatra during the COVID-19 pandemic, while technical variables have no effect on the income of MSMEs in South Sumatra.

The aim of the study is to verify the theoretical content of the digital economy. Within the framework of the set goal, the following tasks were solved: substantiation the fragmentation of private analytical developments and the lack of their necessary generalization for comprehensive disclosure of the essence of the phenomenon of the digital economy; characterization of current trends in financial markets, in the spheres of production and employment of the population; disclosure of the socio-economic essence of the virtual space; forecasting the main contours of the material basis of the future. The article discusses the basic provisions of the theory of digital economy, synthesizing the practical experience of its formation in the Russian society. The new content of commodity-money relations, the leading role of intangible assets in it, the objective nature of the monopoly of electronic money, which has lost a number of its specific functions, and the transformation of monetary institutions into multi-disciplinary financial concerns are substantiated.

Industry 4.0 trends have a significant influence on the acceleration of technology in Indonesia. The development of financial technology has shifted conventional transactions to electronic money as a means of payment with a digital system. Electronic money users in Indonesia continue to grow, while several factors affect consumer decision making to use electronic money. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, practicality, and consumer lifestyle on consumer interest in using chip-based electronic money. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires to chip-based electronic money users. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to verify the factors that determine the indicators of the findings of interest in the use of chip-based electronic money. The study results indicate that: (a) Financial literacy has a significant positive effect on interest in using chip-based electronic money by 14.6%; (b) Financial literacy has a significant positive effect on practicality in the use of chip-based electronic money by 51.8%; (c) Practicality in the use of chip-based electronic money has a significant positive effect on consumer lifestyles by 71.3%; (d) Practicality has a significant positive effect on the use of chip-based electronic money by 25%; and (e) Consumer lifestyle has a significant positive effect on the use of chip-based electronic money by 52.8%. The study results imply that it can be used as a consideration for making monetary policy in Indonesia, dealing with the rapid growth in the use of chip-based electronic money.

ABSTRAK Bitcoin adalah sistem pembayaran online dari uang elektronik peer-to-peer (P2P) yang dikirim langsung dari satu pihak ke pihak lain tanpa melalui lembaga keuangan. Di Indonesia Bitcoin tidak memiliki legalitas untuk dijadikan sebagai alat transaksi yang sah karena bertentangan dengan Undang-Undang nomor 7 tahun 2011 dan Peraturan Bank Indonesia nomor 17 tahun 2015 serta kepemilikan Bitcoin hanya dianggap sah apabila Bitcoin dijadikan sebagai asset kripto dalam bursa berjangka komoditi. Konsep Bitcoin menurut ulama Indonesia haram karena mengandung gharar dan dharar serta bertentangan dengan Undang-Undang. Gharar disebabkan karena penemu atau penciptanya tidak diketahui secara pasti, tidak adanya otoritas yang memastikan keabsahan transaksi, tidak memiliki nilai intrinsik, tidak memiliki validitas dalam sistem ekonomi, nilainya yang tidak stabil karena volatilitas yang tinggi, sulit untuk diawasi akibat ketidakjelasan pemiliki. Dharar disebabkan karena factor kemanan yang rentan akan peretasan, nilai yang fluktuatif sehingga harga bisa turun drastis dan merugikan pemilik, tidak adanya regulasi yang memberikan jaminan terlindung dari kerugian. ABSTRACT Bitcoin is an online payment system of peer-to-peer (P2P) electronic money sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Bitcoin does not have the legality to be used as a legal transaction tool because it is contrary to Undang-Undang nomor 7 of 2011 and Bank Indonesia Regulation number 17 of 2015 and Bitcoin ownership is only considered legal if Bitcoin is used as a crypto asset in the commodity futures exchange. The concept of Bitcoin according to Indonesian scholars is haram because it contains gharar and dharar and is against the law. Gharar is caused by the inventor or creator is not known with certainty, there is no authority to ensure the validity of transactions, has no intrinsic value, has no validity in the economic system, the value is unstable due to high volatility, difficult to announce due to the uncertainty of the owner. Dharar is caused by security factors that are vulnerable to hacking, fluctuating values ​​so that prices can drop drastically and harm the owner, there is no regulation that guarantees protection from losses.

Entering Financial Technology (FINTECH) era, Indonesian Banks and financial institutions competing in issuing their electronic money product. E-money potentially used by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for doing business and making transactions but in reality it is not so. Halal food SMes E-money usage still low so its important for fintech companies to be able to know and understand perceptions to increase interest in re-transacting using electronic money. However, these is still few studies discussed behavioral intention to use e-money in SMEs sector. Consequently, This study identifies and examines the factors that contribute to behavioral intention to use e-money in Surakarta from the Halal food SMEs perspective . Data for this study were obtained through a mail survey sent to 125 Halal Food SMEs in Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Regression is used to analyze the data and determine the impact the factors have on behavioral intention to use e-money. The regression results confirm that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived behavioral control are the most likely factors that contribute to halal food SMEs intention to use e-money whereas trust was not  significantly  related. Implications of the findings for developers are discussed further.

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the marketplace platform by the nation's children dominates the online shopping market in Indonesia. Tokopedia, Shopee, Bukalapak, Lazada, and Bibli are among the top five frequented online shopping sites in Indonesia. Data from Bank Indonesia recorded electronic trade transactions almost doubled in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of electronic money is also predicted to rise by 32.3 percent to Rp 266 trillion. In addition, digital banking transactions are expected to grow by 19.1 percent. Based on these data, it can be concluded that online shopping behavior has become a new trend, lifestyle, and culture in the Covid-19 pandemic. The data from Bank Indonesia shows the phenomenon that online shopping and conducting digital banking transactions, on the one hand, is a solution to prevent the spread of Covid-19 while on the other hand, without us knowing, consumers will become "dark eyes" so that it becomes consumptive, excessive shopping, and buying goods / services beyond the limits of needs.

Kemajuan teknologi yang cukup pesat membawa dampak terhadap dunia keuangan khususnya transaksi pembayaran. Perkembangan ini ditandai dengan jumlah transaksi electronic money atau uang elektronik di Indonesia menunjukan data yang terus meningkat berdasarkan hasil statistik yang dikeluarkan oleh Bank Indonesia. Banyaknya perusahaan pembayaran digital ini memberi banyak pilihan kepada masyarakat dalam menentukkan alat pembayaran digital mana yang akan mereka gunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor Influencer Sosial Media, Brand Image Perusahaan, Promotional Benefit, Financial Technology Knowledge, Persepsi Kemudahan Penggunaan, dan Persepsi Risiko terhadap minat menggunakan pembayaran digital pada mahasiswa di Jabodetabek, Indonesia. Metode penelitian dalam riset ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisa data menggunakan deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Influencer Sosial Media, Brand image perusahaan, Perceived risk berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan. Sedangkan, Promotional benefit, Fintech knowledge, Perceived usefulness, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan kontribusi bagi perusahaan penerbit sebagai bahan kajian untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya, karena kelompok milenial ini memiliki potensi pasar yang besar karena cenderung mengikuti tren dan tanggap akan tekhnologi dibandingkan kelompok umur yang lain. Penelitian ini pula diharapkan mampu memberikan saran perbaikan untuk pemerintah terkait aturan dalam bisnis pembayaran digital di masa yang akan datang. This research was conducted to know the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived benefit on interest in the use and its impact on real use in X generation society in using the DANA electronic money system. The research method used is quantitative research methods. The data collection method used was a questionnaire distributed to 100 DANA users who were born in generation X. The data processing method used in this study was Partial Least Square. The results showed that perceived ease of use had no effect on interest in the use and through mediation also did not affect real use decisions. Meanwhile, the perceived usefulness and benefit perception influence the use interest and through mediation also influence the real use decision. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, persepsi kegunaan dan manfaat terhadap minat pakai serta pengaruhnya terhadap penggunaan nyata pada masyarakat generasi X dalam menggunakan sistem uang elektronik DANA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 pengguna DANA yang lahir pada angkatan X. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kemudahan penggunaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat penggunaan dan melalui mediasi juga tidak berpengaruh pada keputusan penggunaan nyata. Sedangkan persepsi kegunaan dan manfaat mempengaruhi kepentingan penggunaan dan melalui mediasi juga mempengaruhi keputusan penggunaan yang sebenarnya.
