Reconstruction of the Photon Factory storage ring (PF ring; 2.5 GeV) is now in progress to provide very brilliant synchrotron radiation to users, i.e. the emittance is being reduced by a factor of five. Components, such as the quadrupole and sextupole magnets, vacuum chambers, beamlines and beam-position monitors, are being replaced by new ones in 16 normal-cell sections of the PF ring. The accelerating cavities, injection systems and control systems are also being replaced. Operation will commence when the improvements are completed on 1 October 1997.

Political pressure on the automotive industry will lead in future to an increasing electrification of the powertrain. The new components require the development of new vehicle control systems and control functions. Due to the high complexity of such systems the mechatronical development process including Model in the Loop (MIL), Software in the Loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) simulation has been established. In this paper, a HiL test rig is presented, which has high flexibility and supports the model based development of control systems for battery electric vehicles at all levels.

This article is show to the development of an automated monitoring and positioning system for functional nodes of mining technological machines. It describes the structure, element base, algorithms for identifying the operating states of a walking excavator; various types of errors in the functioning of microelectromechanical gyroscopes and accelerometers, as well as methods for their correction based on the Madgwick fusion filter. The results of industrial tests of an automated monitoring and positioning system for functional units on one of the opencast coal mines of Kuzbass are presented. This work is addressed to specialists working in the fields of the development of embedded systems and control systems, radio electronics, mechatronics, and robotics.

RMB contains a large number of coins in circulation in the financial and other fields, this coin inventory and classification, is through manual means, this mode of operation and low work efficiency and give the operator a great trouble, the labor intensity greatly, and not accurate. In the paper, an automatic sorting and measuring machine has been designed and mainly used for sorting, counting, packaging to a variety of coin. The main function of automatic sorting and measuring machine are automatic sorting, counting and packaging. The machine mainly consists of mechanical systems and control systems. It is applied to the modern innovative design and it is the device meeting the need in places for many small denominations of currency. The machine has achieved automation, improved labor productivity, and also brought many conveniences to life. The machine is the inevitable trend of future development.
