Today, there are quite a large number of deaf- mute and hard-of-hearing people which communicate using gestures. Therefore, it is simply necessary to provide them with modern means of communication with the surrounding world. This paper creates a holistic computer system architecture for converting gestures into text and audio messages. The principles of construction and basic design solutions of a computer system based on a modern element base with increased productivity and minimization of hardware costs and energy consumption have been developed. The most popular existing solutions for gesture recognition are considered and analyzed. The operation of the main components has been described, the principle of functioning of the entire system has been analyzed, and their advantages and disadvantages have been compared. The latest structural components for building a computer system (both physical and software) have been selected and investigated. Physical features include: the state-of-the-art Arduino Nano computing platform, the HC-05 Bluetooth module, the ADXL335 accelerometer, and the latest ZD10-100 Information sensor (flexibility sensor). Software features include: firmware for the Arduino Nano hardware platform, Python-based software for splitting the flow of letters into words, displaying them, and voicing them. The methods of Google Media Translation API and Google Text-to-speech (gTTS) have been analyzed. The expediency of conducting research has improved performance through the use of a new information sensor, which is a flexibility sensor ZD10-100 500 g. The general structural scheme of all systems has been designed.

An alert system has been studied, in which sensor data can be collected and analyzed for further processing and action. Notifications are generated when data is compared against certain criteria. The ESP8266 microcontroller has been chosen as the basic device for implementing such a system, as this Espressif controller is a highly integrated Wi-Fi SoC solution that meets the demands of the cyberphysical systems industry in low power consumption, compactness and reliability. This solution is one of the most effective for the alert system. On the basis of this microcontroller the technical means of the computer system and the functional software for realization of functions of monitoring and the notification of critical values of a microclimate indoors are designed. The architecture of the computer system is studied. The choice of the main components of the hardware part of the system is substantiated, the element base is considered. A detailed scheme of the software operation algorithm is offered, as well as the results of the developed computer system for alerting the critical values of the indoor microclimate are demonstrated.

To create a high-ly reliable electronic component base, it is necessary to ensure resistance to the fields of ionizing radiation from space, a wide range of temperatures and mechanical stresses. This requires the crea-tion of ECBs for space applications that are resistant to these external influencing factors.

Abstract The article provides an overview of modern methods and devices for measuring water flow in open channels and natural watercourses, reflects the shortcomings and errors in their application. Considered the possibility of using the Arduino element base for creating an automated system for metering water consumption in an open stream and sending data via a Bluetooth module. Has been investigated the eventuality of using the pipe sensor YF-S201 for measuring the flow rate of liquid, in conjunction with the ultrasonic sensor of distance HC-SR04 for determining the level of water in the flow. The results of the experiment carried out on the basis of the laboratory stand “Hydraulic structures” in KSTU are presented. There were performed processing of the measurement results on the basis of the Arduino UNO board and a laptop, as well as remote data transmission and their visualization on a smartphone. The absolute and relative errors of the proposed system have been calculated.

Abstract The development of a new semiconductor element base is necessary to create a new generation of applications. At present time, the synthesis of high-quality hybrid nanostructures based on III-V quantum dots in the body of nanowires of a wide range of material systems is an urgent and important task. In work hybrid III-V nanostructures based on QDs in the body of NWs in GaP/GaAs and AlGaP/InGaP material systems were synthesized in on silicon substrates and their physical properties were investigated.

The use in the practice of design works of technological preparation of production (CCI) of parameters of design quality of the main elements of integration of the design (checkpoint) element base prevents transition of CCI to information technology of automation of a certain level of solution of problems of practice throughout its cycle. This is manifested, in particular, in the fact that during the change of technological operations of transformation along their route, as well as between the stages of CCI and checkpoint, information and logical links of knowledge are objectively interrupted. When determining a continuous, flexible algorithm in the technology of automation of solving problems of CCI practice, significant difficulties arise. Concepts of existing knowledge were often not up-to-date, which hampered automation – a fast communication system was needed. The primary basis of automation is the formalization of knowledge. Insufficient formalization of knowledge (the content is descriptive) leads to the use of inefficient dialogue technologies, the work of which is organized with reference information in the electronic form of its display. To overcome these difficulties, the structure of the CCI knowledge base in its hierarchy is proposed for seven levels of basic objects of various types, it is based on formalized approaches. Knowledge objects are focused on the consistent and continuous solution of CCI practice throughout its cycle. The structure of all knowledge objects is based on its own technological element base, which is organic for CCI. Only on such an elementary basis can the main target functions of CCI be realistically achieved in solving the problems of its practice on their possible set.

Electronic methods and means of reconnaissance are a set of methods and organizational structures for conducting intelligence activities using electronic equipment and radio-technical devices (systems). The development of modern element base and computing facilities allows us to miniaturize modern facilities, introducing into them previously inaccessible algorithms and methods for processing the information received. This allows real-time monitoring of potentially dangerous (threatening) stationary and mobile objects, promptly responding to emerging terrorist threats and other dangerous phenomena. On the paper briefly discusses the main modern methods and means of electronic intelligence for special purposes, used in practice.
