Didik Ariwibowo, in this paper explain that energy audit activities conducted through several phases, namely: the initial audit, detailed audit, analysis of energy savings opportunities, and the proposed energy savings. Total energy consumed consists of electrical energy, fuel, and materials in this case is water. Electrical energy consumption data obtained from payment of electricity accounts for a year while consumption of fuel and water obtained from the payment of material procurement. From the calculation data, IKE hotels accounted for 420.867 kWh/m2.tahun, while the IKE standards for the hotel is 300 kWh/m2.tahun. Thus, IKE hotel included categorized wasteful in energy usage. The largest energy consumption on electric energy consumption. Largest electric energy consumption is on the air conditioning (AC-air conditioning) that is equal to 71.3%, and lighting and electrical equipment at 27.28%, and hot water supply system by 4.44%. Electrical energy consumption in AC looks very big. Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the statutes, the profile of energy use by air conditioning at the hotel by 48.5%. With these considerations in the AC target for audit detail as the next phase of activity. The results of a detailed audit analysis to find an air conditioning system energy savings opportunities in pumping systems. Recommendations on these savings is the integration of automation on the pumping system and fan coil units (FCU). The principle of energy conservation in the pumping system is by installing variable speed drives (VSD) pump drive motor to adjust speed according to load on the FCU. Load variations FCU provide input on the VSD pumps to match. Adaptation is predicted pump can save electricity consumption up to 65.7%. Keywords: energy audit, IKE, AC

Abstract— The Energy Audit is an assessment of energy consumption and the identification of energy savings, as well as recommendations to increase the efficiency of energy consumption and use of energy sources in the context of energy saving. This study aims to describe the testing of electrical energy in the rooms of the Sotis Kupang Hotel from the 2nd (second) to the 6th (sixth) floor, taking samples of 7 (seven) different room types and carried out a test of electrical energy in relation to the use of lamps and air conditioning. The method used in this study is data collection, survey, observation and direct measurement of the use of light and AC (air conditioning). The data analysis technique used is to determine the estimated value of the electrical energy consumption and the value of the energy consumption intensity (IKE). The calculation and analysis show the value of IKE is 30.96 kWh / m2/ year, which is categorized as "very efficient". The IKE value for the use of AC (air conditioning) is 206.33 kWh / m2/ year and which is categories as "somewhat wasteful". The calculation of the PHE (energy savings) results in a PHE for the use of AC of 172.88 kWh / m2/ year, which falls into the category of "fairly efficient.

Increased energy consumption can lead to depletion of fossil energy reserves that can pose a threat to energy supply in Indonesia. One way to increase the intensity of energy savings is to make changes in consumer behavior. The development of gender roles, abilities, and attention led most researchers to argue that women are more consistent in attention to environmental change than men. Women are more concerned with environmental quality and participate in environmental activities. Thus, this research tries to determine the influence of psychological factors on the behavior of household electrical energy consumption in term of gender differences. This study used questionnaires distributed using Google Docs to household electrical respondents several in Indonesia. Referring to ABC (Antecedents-Behaviour-Consequences) model of consumer behavior, the total of 808, questionnaires from 526 male respondents and 282 female respondents were successfully collected. The data were processed by the Partial Least Square Equation Modeling Model (SEM-PLS) using Smart-PLS software. The study concluded that,if given the consequences, women have higher influence to the behavior of electrical energy consumption than men. Overall psychological factors have a positive and significant influence on the behavior of electric energy consumption in Indonesia.

Aceh Tamiang is the province o f Aceh. The use of electrical energy is still not resolved in this case because of the lack of appropriate policies that can be taken because there is still no research how the amount of electrical energy consumption in Aceh Tamiang. the research method used is a model based approach to End Use of data population and households, the data GDP at constant prices, and consumption of electrical energy. All data is sourced from related agencies such as Bappeda Aceh Tamiang Data PLN Kuala Simpang branch. Forecasting electric energy consumption in Aceh on five sectors is the year 2013 was 48.8 GWh, while, in 2030 total energy consumption reached 76.5 GWh, this is an increase of 63.7 percent. The household sector accounted for the largest increase in consumption compared with other sectors for each year.

Abstract The analyses concerning an electric consumer may consist in determination of several components of electric current, injected by this consumer, in the electric network. Regarding sequence negative and sequence zero components of electric current, the unbalanced electrical consumer is the cause of its presence. Regarding harmonic components of electric current, the non-linear consumer is the cause of its presence. The efficiency about electric energy consumption may be characterized by the values of those components; the paper describes several considerations regarding those components of electrical current and its flow.

The aim of this study was to examine the electric energy consumption of milking process on dairy farms and to evaluate the methods to improve the energy efficiency. The electricity consumption of the milking process was measured on three dairy farms in Southern Finland, and it varied between 37–62 Wh kg-1 milk.  The largest energy saving potential was identified in milk cooling and the heating of cleaning water. Even simple methods, such as placing the condenser of the refrigeration system outside, may reduce the energy consumption of milk cooling by 30%. Efficient milk pre-cooling can reduce the energy consumption of the whole milking process by more than 25%. Even larger energy savings are possible with a sophisticated milk cooling – water heating systems. It was concluded that there is a significant potential to reduce the energy consumption and energy costs of the milking process, and thus to improve the profitability and sustainability of the sector at the same time.

In many heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications, heat recovery devices are installed, aiming at reducing energy consumption. Especially in buildings requiring a high percentage of outside air for ventilation, there is a high potential for heat recovery from exhaust air. Climatic conditions are an important parameter which affects the recovered heat and the payback period of the heat recovery device. In this paper, a 250 person auditorium is used as a model to estimate the applicability of an air-to-air fixed-plate heat exchanger installed in the air handling unit of the HVAC system. The application is considered for four cities, representative of climatic zones A, B, C, D of Greece, which also represent typical Mediterranean climate conditions. Zone A, Crete and Southern Greece, is similar to Nicosia (Cyprus) and Palermo (Sicily), Zone B, with Athens, corresponds to Rome (Italy) and coastal Spain, Zone C with Thessaloniki is similar to the Toulon (France) and Split (Croatia) and Zone D, with its continental climate is more like Milan (Italy) and Lyon (France). An energy analysis with the modified bin method energy calculation was performed to calculate (a) the heating and cooling energy that can be recovered, (b) the reduction in HVAC equipment, and (c) the expected payback period. For the specific climatic conditions examined, it was proven that: heating energy consumption decreased by 31 to 40%, depending on occupancy, while electric energy consumption didn?t change notably; the payback period does not exceed 24 months, depending on climate zone and occupancy.

The paper deals with the justification of the need to use an asynchronous traction electric drive on the metro rolling stock. The advantages of using an asynchronous traction electric drive in comparison with a DC commutator motor drive are formulated. The characteristics of modern innovative metro rolling stock with asynchronous traction electric drive of domestic and foreign production are analyzed. Aspects of the choice of a variable frequency asynchronous traction electric drive for innovative rolling stock are formulated and the existing typical algorithm of such choice is given. The main reasons for the irrational choice of traction asynchronous electric drive for the metro rolling stock are considered and the consequences of such a choice are analyzed. It is proposed to improve the methodology for selecting a variable frequency traction asynchronous electric drive for the metro rolling stock in terms of such an important operational factor as the specific cost of electrical energy for traction. The rational parameters of the variable frequency asynchronous traction electric drive according to the proposed procedure for the specified characteristics of the metro rolling stock are specified. The reserves of energy savings for the given conditions due to the introduction of an asynchronous traction electric drive with rational parameters on the innovative rolling stock are determined. It is established that the efficiency factor of the asynchronous traction motor significantly affects the specific electric energy consumption for the metro rolling stock traction and operating costs.
