Supply chain management paradigms are becoming increasingly common management perspectives all over the world due to violent global competition of trade organizations and rapid changes in technology. In recent years, thanks to the communication improvements, customers have become more conscious about purchasing goods or services. Furthermore, organizations have to be customer oriented and more flexible against the dynamism of supply chain environment which increases uncertainties in supply chain parameters. Although a considerable amount of risk factors appearing in supply chain operations, this study concentrates on detecting key supply chain risks which could cause abnormalities and occur from rapid changes in customer demand, unpredictable price fluctuations, defect variations and delivery delays and provides the correction of these problems automatically. Thus, a system dynamics model is established for determining risks. This combined approach would be helpful for integrated supply chain risk management.

Integrated supply chain risk management (ISCRM) has become indispensable to the theory and practice of supply chain management. The economic and political realities of the modern world require not only a different approach to supply chain management, but also bold steps to secure supply chain performance and sustainable wealth creation. Integrated supply chain risk management provides supply chain organisations with a level of insight into their supply chains yet to be achieved. If correctly applied, this process may optimise management decision-making and assist in the protection and enhancement of shareholder value.

Today organizations of any magnitude have heavily integrated supply chain. The supply chain management consists of all parties involved, directly or indirectly in fulfilling customer request. There is an immense growth which has expanded from the traditional point of view as not only of physical distribution of materials but also to services. Implementing supply chain risk management has been troubleshooting in many organizations. In practice assessing risk management in supply chain is rather underdeveloped and often dealt with informal and reactive manner. As risk management issues today is subjected to substantial research and the organizations are trying to mitigate the risk issues so as to maintain the smooth operation of supply chain. The purpose of this paper is to identify and prioritize the risk factors in context to supply chain management of Indian manufacturing organizations. The research presented here is specifically targeted to Indian manufacturing organizations which are managing the supply chain operations. This paper deals with the risk issues and thus empirically assesses which risk factors are most influencing one in supply chain operations which must be given careful attention.

Purpose Supply chain risks specifically refer to risks that transmit among supply chain members, thus they should be understood and managed as a whole for an end-to-end supply chain. The purpose of this paper is to review literature of integrated supply chain risk management (ISCRM) that connects supply chain integration (SCI) with supply chain risk management. Design/methodology/approach The systematic literature review methodology was used to select and categorize articles between 1998 and 2015 in peer-reviewed journals. A contingency analysis was further applied to detect association patterns and links between category items. Findings Through a systematic literature review, the research has clearly analyzed risk sources, scopes and dimensions of SCI, and scopes and dimensions of performance in the field of ISCRM. Furthermore, by applying the contingency analysis, the paper has proposed future research directions that are based on the extant literature findings. Originality/value The identified insights, gaps, and future research directions will encourage researchers as well as managers to drive the development of ISCRM.
