Abstract Equations of motion for a Zener model describing a viscoelastic rod are investigated and conditions ensuring the existence, uniqueness and regularity properties of solutions are obtained. Restrictions on the coefficients in the constitutive equation are determined by a weak form of the dissipation inequality. Various stochastic processes related to the Karhunen-Loéve expansion theorem are presented as a model for random perturbances. Results show that displacement disturbances propagate with an infinite speed. Some corrections of already published results for a non-stochastic model are also provided.

Zeta potential is frequently used to examine the colloidal stability of particles and macromolecules in liquids. Recently, it has been suggested that zeta potential can also play an important role for grouping and read-across of nanoforms in a regulatory context. Although the measurement of zeta potential is well established, only little information is reported on key metrological principles such as validation and measurement uncertainties. This contribution presents the results of an in-house validation of the commonly used electrophoretic light scattering (ELS) and the relatively new particle tracking analysis (PTA) methods. The performance characteristics were assessed by analyzing silica and polystyrene reference materials. The ELS and PTA methods are robust and have particle mass working ranges of 0.003 mg/kg to 30 g/kg and 0.03 mg/kg to 1.5 mg/kg, respectively. Despite different measurement principles, both methods exhibit similar uncertainties for repeatability (2%), intermediate precision (3%) and trueness (4%). These results confirm that the developed methods can accurately measure the zeta potential of silica and polystyrene particles and can be transferred to other laboratories that analyze similar types of samples. If direct implementation is impossible, the elaborated methodologies may serve as a guide to help laboratories validating their own methods.

Today, the problem of virtual design, modeling and testing of mobile robots prior to their direct implementation «in the metal» is quite urgent. The article reviews the technologies used for this purpose and discusses the approach to creating specialized software complexes aimed at solving existing problems in existing technologies. The concept of the program is proposed for modeling problems of structure and behavior of mobile robots with elements of artificial intelligence, intended to support search and rescue operations in a combination of environments (air, ground, underwater) and for the professional training of relevant specialists.

Abstract:COVID-19 outbreak had changed the order of social life in Indonesia. As school isshutting down, many teachers face the hardship to observe the students’ activity. Many studentsseen active by online but they didn’t give their best effort to join the learning process. One waycould be used to overcome this problem is by conducting the interactive learning process thatenabled the realtime interaction between teacher and students. This community service activitywas held in SMP Al Furqan MQ located in Tebuireng that involving 33 participants. The usedmethod was lecturing dan direct implementation. This training enhanced the participants’information and insight so it could be used in online learning process. Keywords: Online learning process, interactive learning processAbstrak: Wabah COVID-19 banyak mengubah tatanan kehidupan bermasyarakat di Indonesia.Dengan ditiadakannya cara tatap muka dalam sistem pembelajaran di sekolah, guru memilikikesulitan untuk memantau aktivitas siswa. The study of novelty as a cultural phenomenon presupposes the formulation and solution of the problem in the ultimate interpretation, as an unbiased description of its appearance on a defined territory, reducing it to preestablished principles that explain novelty as certainty and stability. This means understanding the phenomenal limit-the novelty goes to infinity and shimmers in the vastness of being, appears to the inquisitive mind in the form of original discoveries and imaginary worlds. Novelty is revealed as the opening potency of being with the possibilities that have appeared – the reversal of events that are its direct implementation. The formulation of the novelty problem immediately confronts the initial contradiction and the difficulty of solving it. Imaginary novelty compensates for the unavailability of a material analog-it fills the voids of being and presence with its creations. Imaginary novelty carries the desired illusions that inspire the enthusiast, but under the cover of dreams, the real novelty of being grows. The paper suggests the related concepts: imaginative, imaginary, quasi-objective for the expansion of the intellectual landscape of the field of culture. In the aspect of novelty, the imaginary appears as an outstripping development of the presence, its separation from being and self-active bifurcation, the desire for a new material embodiment – the production of added being.
