In this study we present a generic probabilistic risk assessment methodology to evaluate the risk associated with flooding process of a pit. We use the bow-tie analysis to analyze the critical events (we focus on slope failures) and the systemic risk assessment methodology to estimate the risk for the population, for the environment and for the infrastructure. Furthermore, we perform a spatial analysis of the risk by discretizing the affected area into squares, by estimating the risk in each one and finally by creating the risk map. The methodology is implemented by specialized software that has been created in a Matlab environment for the deduction of such risk assessments. The developed methodology was applied in the area of the pit lake Most in Czech Republic.

In the realities of the pandemic, chat bots have become indispensable helpers. They do not need a lot of resources and constant human control. A method of interacting with social networks through a specialized software interface Web API, which is the basis of the REST architecture, is considered. The basic structure of requests for receiving and sending data to servers is presented. On the example of the implementation of a chatbot for vk.com, capable of automating a dialogue with users, the main design stages are presented, including the requirements for the implementation and operation mode based on the client-server architecture, implementation and testing. The project server is implemented on a Raspberry Pi4 single-board computer. Demonstrated code for performing basic queries and implemented a Long Polling approach to continuously track and distribute user messages. Methods were formed to obtain the necessary resources from the server, to declare a new resource on the server, to update information on the server, and to delete certain objects from the database. The result was a patented software product "Intelligent assistant of VSUIT for social networks".

There are many approaches to assessing the energy performance of buildings. In Ukraine, previously, when developing the energy passport of buildings, a method based on stationary calculations using degree-days of the heating period was used. Then, for the tasks of energy certification of buildings, a national calculation method based on the monthly quasi-stationary method was introduced. The simplified hourly method of calculation allows to consider thermal inertia of protections. In recent years, the methods of dynamic energy modeling using software packages have become increasingly relevant, because it allows at the preliminary design stage to estimate energy costs for different building needs before and after the implementation of energy efficiency projects and provides the ability to create 3D models based on geometric and thermal parameters, tasks of different configurations and types of engineering systems of the building. To build an energy model, a training building was chosen to determine energy consumption indicators and identify measures that have the greatest impact on the energy performance of the building.Purpose. Evaluation of energy characteristics of the educational building of a higher education institution with modeling of energy consumption in specialized software, technical and economic evaluation of opportunities to increase energy efficiency.Research methods. Energy inspection of the object of research and technical and economic analysis with the use of engineering methods of calculation, experimental measurements of the parameters of the microclimate of the building with the use of laboratory equipment were performed. Simulations are used in specialized software products RETScreen, EnergyPlus, DesignBuilder.Result. With the help of the developed models the structure of energy consumption of the educational building is obtained and the assessment of energy saving potential is carried out; in case of implementation of the proposed measures it is expected to reduce the consumption of energy resources and monetary costs for their payment, as well as improve the quality of educational services. The research was conducted as part of a master's thesis.Scientific novelty. The technical potential of this software for modeling the energy performance of a building of complex configuration on the example of the educational building of the educational institution, analyzed the methods of processing initial data for programs, comparative analysis of calculation results for the actual condition of the building, baseline and after implementing energy saving measures.Practical significance. As a result of the research, the potential of using different software packages to perform applied research of the master's dissertation was determined and a project of complex thermal modernization of the building of the educational building was developed.

Abstract A mathematical model of the magnetic field in the working gap of a brushless motor is considered in a case of rotor misalignment arising during manufacture, for example, due to defects in end shields, or in operation due to bearing wear. a gap in a uniform (circular ring). The stator gearing is taken into account on average using the Carter coefficient, the magnetic field in the inhomogeneous air gap, created by the rotor magnets and the stator winding current, is assumed to be plane-parallel, having a two-dimensional character. It was found that the rotor misalignment associated with the rotational movement of the eccentricity causes nonsinusoidality of the idle EMF and pulsation of the electromagnetic moment with a frequency 3p times higher than the rotor speed. When the eccentricity is stationary, a variable EMF is induced along the rotor shaft, causing an alternating current in the circuit: shaft-bearings-bearing shields-stator housing. To clarify the nature of the defect in order to identify the actual misalignment of the rotor, it is recommended to control currents and voltages using specialized software and hardware complexes for spectrum analysis.

The paper provides a brief overview of the standard capabilities of X-ray techniques for studying materials with examples of modern performance of elemental and structural studies. X-ray research methods make it possible to reveal the elemental and phase-structural state. Thanks to modern software and electronic databases, the use of previously complex techniques is becoming simpler and more accessible. To illustrate the solution of specific problems, several examples of obtaining and decoding diffraction patterns and identifying the phase composition of the coating and ceramic material are given. An example of work in modern specialized software for acceleration and automation of phase identification is shown. For clarity, an example of identifying phases using electronic database cards is presented, which is still used today for manual decoding.  The practice of interaction between researchers shows that even specialists in the field of X-ray structural analysis are not always aware of modern methods of processing and decoding the obtained data. The possibilities and algorithm of action in research can be interesting for students, engineers, researchers of materials science and mechanical engineering profile. Keywords: microscopy, X-raystructural analysis, X-rayfluorescence analysis

With the increase of the population appeared the need to increase the agricultural production. However, this desideratum comes with a series of requirements that are somewhat contradictory: - reducing the use of pesticides; - reducing the quantities of agricultural fertilizers by optimizing their use; - the use of more environmentally friendly technologies; - cost reduction. Thus appeared the concept of "precision agriculture" that meets the requirements listed. This concept involves processing a large volume of digitized data. The data must be purchased with appropriate means, processed with specialized software and interpreted by qualified specialists. The software also generates the data necessary for the practical application, on farms, of the measures necessary to achieve a precision agriculture.
