AbstractWe introduce a new generalization of the q-Bernstein operators involving (p, q)-integers, and we establish some direct approximation results. Further, we define the limit (p, q)-Bernstein operator, and we obtain its estimation for the rate of convergence. Finally, we introduce the (p, q)-Kantorovich type operators, and we give a quantitative estimation.

<abstract><p>In this paper, we introduce new type of generalized Kantorovich variant of $ \alpha $-Bernstein operators and study their approximation properties. We obtain estimates of rate of convergence involving first and second order modulus of continuity and Lipschitz function are studied for these operators. Furthermore, we establish Voronovskaya type theorem of these operators. The last section is devoted to bivariate new type $ \alpha $-Bernstein-Kantorovich operators and their approximation behaviors. Also, some graphical illustrations and numerical results are provided.</p></abstract>

In this article, we have introduced (p;q)-variant of Stancu-Schurer operators and discussed the rate of convergence for continuous functions. We have also discussed recursive estimates, Korovkin-type theorems and direct approximation results using second order modulus of continuity, Peetre’s K-functional and Lipschitz class.

A general class of linear and positive operators dened by nite sum is constructed. Some of their approximation properties, including a convergence theorem and a Voronovskaja-type theorem are established. Next, the operators of the considered class which preserve exactly two test functions from the set {e0, e1, e2} are determined. It is proved that the test functions e0 and e1 are preserved only by the Bernstein operators, the test functions e0 and e2 only by the King operators while the test functions e1 and e2 only by the operators recently introduced by P. I. Braica, O. T. Pop and A. D. Indrea in [4].

In this article, we deal with the approximation properties of Ismail-May operators [16] based on a non-negative real parameter ?. We provide some graphs and error estimation table for a numerical example depicting the convergence of our proposed operators. We further define the B?zier variant of these operators and give a direct approximation theorem using Ditizan-Totik modulus of smoothness and a Voronovoskaya type asymptotic theorem. We also study the error in approximation of functions having derivatives of bounded variation. Lastly, we introduce the bivariate generalization of Ismail May operators and estimate its rate of convergence for functions of Lipschitz class.

We discuss the rate of convergence of the Lupasq-analogues of the Bernstein operatorsRn,q(f;x)which were given by Lupas in 1987. We obtain the estimates for the rate of convergence ofRn,q(f)by the modulus of continuity off, and show that the estimates are sharp in the sense of order for Lipschitz continuous functions.

In this paper, a Dunkl type generalization of Stancu type q-Szasz-Mirakjan-Kantorovich positive linear operators ´ of the exponential function is introduced. With the help of well-known Korovkin’s theorem, some approximation properties and also the rate of convergence for these operators in terms of the classical and second-order modulus of continuity, Peetre’s K-functional and Lipschitz functions are investigated.

In the present paper, the generalized p,q-gamma-type operators based on p,q-calculus are introduced. The moments and central moments are obtained, and some local approximation properties of these operators are investigated by means of modulus of continuity and Peetre K-functional. Also, the rate of convergence, weighted approximation, and pointwise estimates of these operators are studied. Finally, a Voronovskaja-type theorem is presented.

We construct Stancu-type Bernstein operators based on Bézier bases with shape parameter λ ∈ [ - 1 , 1 ] and calculate their moments. The uniform convergence of the operator and global approximation result by means of Ditzian-Totik modulus of smoothness are established. Also, we establish the direct approximation theorem with the help of second order modulus of smoothness, calculate the rate of convergence via Lipschitz-type function, and discuss the Voronovskaja-type approximation theorems. Finally, in the last section, we construct the bivariate case of Stancu-type λ -Bernstein operators and study their approximation behaviors.

AbstractThe present paper deals with the bivariate{(p,q)}-Baskakov–Kantorovich operators and their approximation properties. First we construct the operators and obtain some auxiliary results such as calculations of moments and central moments, etc. Our main results consist of uniform convergence of the operators via the Korovkin theorem and rate of convergence in terms of modulus of continuity.
